Cambria String Quartet provides the fitting soundtrack to their client's weddings throughout Cardiff and South Wales. This ensemble was first established in 2002. All of their musicians have been handpicked based on their experiences, quality, and versatility. These stringed professionals have previously had the honour of performing at many weddings and other special events.

What is included in the wedding package?

We offer several packages, such as ceremony only, ceremony and drinks, ceremony, drinks and meal, plus combinations of the above. Please contact us for details. Thank you

How far in advance should I contact you?

You can contact us at any time. If we're free, we'll make it work. Having said that, Saturdays in the summer months fill up very quickly and its worth booking as early as possible

We have a huge repertoire, from classical through rock and pop, to jazz, film and latest hits. Our playlist is on our website and is regularly updated

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

We take bespoke requests. Usually we would need at least a month's notice, as transcribing the parts for strings can take a long time, so there is a small charge for this

What's your experience?

We have 20 years experience of weddings and corporate events, and are the foremost quartet in South Wales. We also perform in concerts and work as session musicians in the studio

Yes, if the venue is more than 20miles from Cardiff, we charge 40p per extra mile after the first 20

These guys are amazing!!

They were the perfect addition to the church whilst guests arrived for the wedding ceremony, and just incredible to walk down the aisle to a rendition of our favourite song played so beautifully. During the drinks reception in the garden, they sounded amazing and all the guests commented on how perfect it was in the sunshine drinking their champagne listening to such beautiful music.

Booking them was super easy and their pricing is very generous. I would certainly recommend Cambria String Quartet for any wedding or occasion.

Gorgeous string quartet for our wedding in the spring countryside

We recently got married at Sant Ffraed House and had Cambria String Quartet to perform from pre-ceremony through to drinks reception. For the song that I walked down the aisle to, I wanted the song played to hear the lyrics as they were sentimental to me, but also to have the strings played to. The quartet were happy to do this and practiced to stay in time etc. It sounded so beautiful and romantic and all our guests loved listening. When you think of a string quartet you think of slow songs but they actually cover lots of rock songs which is our jam! Thanks so much guys!
