Backbeat are a Hampshire-based 4-piece indie and rock wedding band specialising in high-energy live music for weddings, corporate events and private parties. Four full-time professional musicians (vocals, guitar, bass, drums) with festival stages and wedding rooms on the same CV. Based in Southampton, regularly covering Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire, and happy to travel further afield for the right night.

We're not a covers-everything wedding band. We're a genuine indie and rock specialist. The setlist leans Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, The Killers and Oasis for the late floor, Stereophonics, Sam Fender and a modern chart-pop crossover layered through, and wedding non-negotiables like Mr Brightside, Don't Stop Me Now and Sweet Caroline holding the back-half peaks. Between sets a DJ playlist, collaborated with the couple in advance, keeps the floor moving so the night runs from drinks reception to last call without a flat spot.

• Fully self-contained pro-grade PA, stage lighting and DJ setup. PAT-tested annually, public liability insured, and experienced with sound-limiter venues across the South Coast.
• Clear communication from your first email through to the day itself, including liaison with your venue coordinator on cut-offs, limiter setup and load-in timings.
