2 of Diamonds - violin and guitar duo offer a very distinctive feel for your wedding. Vibrant and exciting, they provide atmosphere for your guests from the moment they arrive. The classical sound of the violin blended with the rich range of acoustic guitar, give that subtley different feel to classic pop songs, often used in TV and film; and they are equally happy performing instrumentals or tight vocal harmonies. All of their material is performed from memory, without sheet music or tablets, meaning they can create a very real connection with your wedding guests. They will also learn material specifically for your wedding, be it for the entrance, register signing or a first dance. While they specialise in ceremonies and drinks receptions, they can offer music for the whole wedding day with the ability to expand to a 4 piece function or ceilidh band for the latter part of the wedding. Playing pop, rock, country and celtic classics, they have over 6 hours of learned repertoire; few musicians offer such a wide range of material. They are also happy to play fully acoustically or with amplication; or, indeed, to switch between the two for different needs. Advice will always be offered on what is best and most suitable for your needs and the feel you are trying to achieve.
Communication is prompt and friendly and they like to establish a relationship with the couple which means they feel involved in the music they will have on the day. They are happy to supply details of their current repertoire so that couples can provide feedback on the music they would (or wouldn't) like. They are also always open to suggestions for new material.
With over 5 years of experience of being wedding performers, and much more than that as individuals and with different combos, they are both committed to providing all couples with a unique experience. Every wedding is different, every couple wants a special, personal experience for their wedding day, and 2 of Diamonds aim to help to provide that.

Hi, I'm Sally. I've been playing the violin since I was 8 years old and have more than 20 years of professional experience. Unlike some more conventional violinists, I'm happy playing all styles of music from pop tunes, through jazz, celtic, folk rock to traditional classical pieces. I always play from memory and love to make that connection with the people I'm playing for. It's so satisfying playing for weddings and I love to make a couple's day special and individual.
Hi, I'm Rob. I've been playing guitar since I got one for my 11th birthday and I played for my first wedding over 20 years ago. I love performing at weddings and building relationships, during the time we are playing, with both the couple and their guests. Sally and I spend a lot of time rehearsing and arranging (something that is made easier being married ourselves); and I really enjoy the challenge of working together on a new song we've been asked to do and giving it a distinctive feel.
