One Six Events

We booked One Six Events for our wedding in August and couldn't be happier with our decision to use them for our special day. From the initial phone call to talk through our plan, to the execution on the day itself, the service from Freddie and the team was exceptional. They were always happy to give advice and made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process.

What impressed us most was how accommodated we felt, even with last minute changes. The day before, we were still tweaking things - moving the band and dance floor positions, adding extra outdoor lighting, creating a walkway entrance and they handled every single adjustment effortlessly without any fuss.

On the day, the marquee looked incredible! The petal pole tent matched our rustic outdoor aesthetic perfectly. Keeping the sides open was such a nice touch, as it made the inside and outside feel like one connected space that guests could easily move between.

Once night fell, the whole setup truly came alive. The interior was glowing under a canopy of fairy lights, while festoon lights illuminated the outside and guided guests along the walkway. They even lit up our outdoor games area so everyone could keep playing well into the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Thank you Freddie and your team for truly bringing our wedding to life. Your marquee was such a big part of the day and it was everything we wanted and more. We could not recommend One Six Events enough and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

“Rich and his team are absolute troopers! Highly recommend using this company for any event where you need a marquee / tent. Extremely reliable and efficient. Thank you for helping our day so special!” Marcus – September 2019

“Thank you so much for your great service and help in supplying your beautiful marquee for the wedding on Saturday. It looked absolutely stunning, and was exactly what we wanted and gave us a great space. We were so lucky to be able to have the sides off which made it perfect. I will be recommending you.” CL – Wedding May 2019

One Six Events delivered an exemplary service from start to finish for our fantastic wedding day. Rich and Freddie’s enthusiasm and ‘can do’ attitudes were so refreshing compared to other marquee providers who all seemed very stuck in their ways. Nothing was too difficult or complicated, and the team’s ability to deliver on all the requests, as well as overcoming the unforeseen difficulties, cannot be faulted. The end result – a stunning marquee, in a stunning location!

The service offered was extremely professional, whilst being laid back enough that we felt comfortable and supported in changing our minds on certain design details right up to the last second (sorry!). We certainly got the feeling that Rich, Freddie and their team wanted the marquee to be perfect in every way and they didn’t disappoint. It was beautiful, and all erected and dismantled very efficiently as advertised. This company’s passion for customer satisfaction was palpable, and we genuinely felt so lucky to have such a dedicated and passionate team play such a huge part in our special day.

We will certainly be using One Six for any future marquee requirements, and we can’t thank them enough for delivering a first-class service from start to finish.” Michael and Kirsten – Wedding in Cornwall June 2018

“We used One Six Events for our wedding in June and from the moment of our first enquiry through to the day itself, Rich, Freddie and their team were nothing short of amazing. Organising a wedding for so many people was a daunting prospect but Rich completely took away any stresses or anxieties we had. He always made himself available to answer questions and offered up so much additional expert help and advice along the way.

We only saw the marquee for the first time on the day they arrived to set it up and it exceeded all our expectations. Photographs really don’t do it justice, it is stunning, the most beautiful marquee I have been in. The guys dedicated themselves to us for the next two days setting up inside and out, making sure every small detail was just right. The standards they hold themselves to are so high and it really made such a difference working with a supplier who had the same vision and expectations for the day as we did.

I would not hesitate to recommend One Six Events and we can’t thank the team enough for helping make our wedding so so special.” Ellen – Wedding in Surrey July 2018
