We had the full package with Java for our wedding - tipis, bar and event management. Firstly to say, after not really seeing many tipis before, they made it look absolutely stunning for our big day. The decor was fantastic and the bar staff were super efficient and fun! Now a special mention goes out to Katie here, our wedding planner. I mean it when I say we couldn't have done it without her. Small pieces like helping make sure everything was perfect the morning of our wedding for when we arrived, and pretty much treating us like royalty throughout the day. She made sure our day ran super smoothly and on time. Leading up to the big day aswell, she was extremely helpful.. from recommending suppliers to giving us advice on decor. She really was excellent.
We cannot recommend Java enough. If you want the most magical and stress free day, this is the company to choose!JAVA Tipis Ltd.'s reply:

From the very first enquiry to the final moments of the tipis being taken down, the entire experience was seamless and professional. The erection and takedown of the three stunning structures was not only efficient and timely, but also executed with such precision and care, it was a joy to watch the team in action!
Sarah and Laura were a dream to work with in the lead-up to our big day. Every detail was carefully considered and expertly managed, and we felt completely supported throughout the planning process. On the day itself, Laura was absolutely fantastic, calm, organised, and quietly ensuring everything ran to plan (and keeping us in check when needed!). We’ve since had several other suppliers comment on how helpful and supportive she was behind the scenes, often stepping in to help with things we never even noticed at the time.
Looking back at the photos, we’re reminded of just how much effort went into creating such a magical space and none of it would have been possible without the incredible Java Tipis team. A massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Rach and Nick x -

As soon as we spoke to Martha and the gang, we knew we’d found our tipi supplier. We’d spoken to a few others, and some marquee companies, but JAVA Tipis have found the perfect balancing point between professionalism, and personality - booking was efficient and easy, everything had been thought of for us, but they didn’t lose their good humour and fun. Wedding planning is stressful, but Martha and Katie, our brilliant coordinator, made everything tipi-related fun!
Their pricing is fair and comprehensive, and the breakdowns meant we knew exactly where we were spending money, and could swap and change things accordingly - a completely tailored quote.
Nick and the gang arrived on our smallholding to put up the tipi days ahead of the wedding, which meant we had plenty of time to dress it and make it beautiful. As an aside, they were also super respectful of our land and animals, and were very conscientious of the horses and goats that were interested in the goings on. Breakdown of the tipis happened two days after the wedding, and again, was super efficient with absolutely nothing left behind (in fact, I think the field was probably in better condition afterwards!)
Our wedding had so many compliments from our friends and family: “classiest wedding”, “best wedding ever”, “better than a royal wedding!” (although I will caveat to say that the guest has never been to a royal wedding…). It was 20° on our wedding day, and we didn’t require heaters for the evening as the tipi kept the heat in perfectly, saving some money.
If you’re on the fence about JAVA Tipis, I’d highly recommend going to one of their open days (usually advertised on their social media platforms). That sold it to us, seeing it in real life, dressed and ready to go with different variants of decor to give an indication of what’s possible. You’ll also get to meet the team, don’t underestimate the importance of liking your suppliers!
JAVA Tipis have a sister company, The Little Wedding Lending Company, for any decor and furniture hire requirements, and JAVA Events Management. Katie saved my sanity on the approach to the wedding, and the day of the wedding, and really made the magic happen.
Since the wedding, we’ve been manically trying to think of an reason to host to replicate the wedding day - and friends and family also keep asking us to!JAVA Tipis Ltd.'s reply:

Java were amazing from start to finish. They are the true meaning of bespoke. Every step of the way, they are helpful, knowledgeable and amazing at knowing what we wanted and NEEDED!!!
Martha, Nick, Katie and the rest of the team made our day one for everyone to remember! From the team behind the scenes putting up the most beautiful tipis and bar, to the staff on the day who couldn’t do enough for us, we are so grateful.
My favourite phrase throughout was… ‘I don’t know; I’ve never done this before’, which was met with Katie and Martha’s ‘We have!’ And they really had.
The process was smooth and calm from start to finish. Even when hair and make up went a little off track just a week before the wedding, Katie fixed it within the hour!

The perfect setting for our gothic inspired wedding
Right from the off Java were brilliant. They have worked with our venue before many times, but nothing felt like it was just regurgitating the same-old stuff. They 100% made it feel like the once in a lifetime event is should be. They listed to every question, query and idea I had! They sent CADs when needed, have zoom chats every few months, and we were back and fourth on table plans until the week of! They really know their stuff. -

Beautiful tipis and brilliant service
We went with Java for our wedding tipis after a really high recommendation from a family member. They did not disappoint!! The communication was excellent - Katie talked us through everything in the months leading up to it - we were living in New Zealand at the time and was able to navigate the different time zones !
The set up on the day was so smooth, the lads just cracked on and got it done so quickly. The outcome was beautiful , and we had the best day! -

Martha and her team went above and beyond right from the get go. It’s no exaggeration to say there wouldn’t have been a reception without them. From the first of two site visits we knew we were in the best of hands. Marth created our wedding day itinerary, organised logistics for the week leading up the big day, liaised with every single supplier, drew up our site plan, sorted out all of the drinks, dressed not only the tipis, but also barns, railway carriages you name it, arranged festoon lighting miles long and continually spread fun, enthusiasm and a perfect blend of calm and excitement every where she went. Martha, Nick, Ava etc we love you, we couldn’t have done it without you. It was the BEST DAY EVER and we will never stop shouting about just how great it and you were!JAVA Tipis Ltd.'s reply:
