We booked this marquee company for our engagement party, expecting professionalism, communication, and reliability. What we got was stress, chaos, and an experience that nearly ruined one of the most important days of our lives. I wouldn’t wish this service on anyone planning a milestone event.

Here’s what happened:
• Setup Took Three Days: What should have been a straightforward marquee setup turned into a three-day ordeal. They promised efficiency but failed to deliver on even the basics.
• Ridiculous Arrival Times: We were told the team would arrive at 9 AM, then they delayed to 5 PM, then again to 9 PM. In reality, only one man showed up at 11 PM, with another arriving at 12:30 AM, hours before the event. They stayed until 1 AM and made virtually no progress, except for stringing up some lights. No tables, chairs, drapes, stage, carpets…nothing.
• On the Day of the Event: They were meant to return at 9 AM but came an hour late at 10 AM and didn’t finish until 1:30 PM, despite the event being scheduled to start at 12 PM. We had to contact all our guests last-minute to delay their arrival. This caused huge disruption and completely derailed our plans. Much of the decor and desserts were never even set out because we ran out of time.
• No Communication from Gurinder: I (the bride) reached out multiple times in the weeks leading up to the event. Gurinder ignored my messages and missed calls, only responding the morning of the engagement, two weeks later. No apology, no accountability, just a self-justifying tone that painted himself as the victim.
• Disrespect for His Own Workers: We watched as his poor staff were forced to work inhumane hours, some on-site at different events from 7 AM until the next day. These workers were clearly exhausted and overworked. It was shocking and honestly heartbreaking.
• Unauthorized Property Access at 2 AM: A full week later, they returned to dismantle the marquee at 2 AM, without warning. They entered our private property in the middle of the night. We were frightened and thought we were being burgled. Completely unacceptable.
• Left a Mess: The garden was left in a complete state, equipment and debris everywhere. No cleanup, no courtesy, just more work left for us.
• Fabric Switch Without Consent: We carefully selected a specific fabric color in advance. The day before the event, they showed up with completely different colored fabric and casually told us they didn’t have the original color in stock. No heads-up, no alternatives, just a decision made on our behalf.
• Personal Toll: This entire experience was so distressing that I barely slept the night before my engagement. I didn’t get to complete vital preparations (desserts, beauty, personal touches) because I was too busy chasing this company down, trying to figure out when or if they would show up. It’s something no bride should have to go through.

This company showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and respect, not just for us as clients, but for their own workers. They turned what should have been a joyful time into an exhausting nightmare. No apology, no ownership, just stress and disappointment.
I urge anyone considering this company for a special event to think twice. They may set up a marquee, but they’ll also set your nerves on fire.

Could not fault these guys, I made an enquiry and the response was fast and efficient. We very quickly had someone come over to size up. Despite 3 huge storms in February 2022 the guys delivered an outstanding marquee, the team were efficient, friendly and used their expertise to maximise the small space we had.
