The Kitchen Front Bude, based in Bude, Cornwall, offers unique entertainment services for HEN PARTIES. Named after a radio program that aired during WW2, they were inspired by its aim to boost morale, so they crafted a loving, vintage space for creativity workshops. With nostalgic decor ranging back to the 1940s and exceptional hospitality, they can transform any wedding preparation or hen party celebration into a truly unforgettable experience.

Pip pip. Pay attention lovelies. We are a spiffing small business in North Cornwall. Our passion is the extraordinary and ensuring that you receive a truly unique and special experience.

Our hen parties can seat from 4 to 16 and we have several packages or you can create your own bespoke event. We offer really wholesome, creative parties with decorum, darlings, so this is perfect to bring your mums and aunts along too.

We offer creative sessions with 1940s' afternoon teas. Our cakes are home made to original WWII recipes and our scones....well, baked fresh on site so you get them served hot at the table, Fabulous.

Clair is a trained illustrator and WWII enthusiast. We ensure that every aspect is immersive, even from the moment of arrival, your ID cards are checked. Ration champagne is served (you can bring your own proper stuff if you like), nostalgic big band, swing and jazz tunes play whislt we show you how to find your inner 4-year old.

The menus are personalised Ration books and we even create a gift for the bride. If you want to know a little more history and have a living history experience, we can show you how to do Victory Rolls Hair; paint lines up the back of your legs; show you basic Lindy Hop dance and Charleston Stroll; photographs prepared in old style for you. We can add live music, re-enactors and military vehicles.

Workshops can include ceramic kitchenware, pottery painting, book binding, fabric block print, all with illustration techniques.

Food Hygiene: We have a 5***** food hygiene rating and can cater for vegan, GF, DF and other dietary needs.
