Where do I even begin? After an appalling experience at another formalwear retailer in Chester (Groom), my partner, our wedding party and I walked into CAVANI feeling disappointed, upset and deflated.

We are a same-sex couple getting married in December, and what should have been an exciting experience choosing our wedding suits had been completely soured by the attitude and treatment we received elsewhere.

Then we met Rob at CAVANI Chester—and what an absolute superstar he is!

Despite arriving unannounced, without an appointment, and with a wedding party of eight men, Rob and his colleagues welcomed us with open arms.

From the very first moment, the difference was like night and day.

Rob was exceptional. His professionalism, compassion, patience and genuine kindness were second to none. After hearing about our experience, he immediately put us at ease, reassured us and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.

He never made us feel like an inconvenience, never rushed us and genuinely seemed delighted to help us prepare for our special day.

This wasn’t just good customer service—it was customer service at its absolute finest!

Rob listened, offered expert advice, understood exactly what we wanted and made the entire experience relaxed, enjoyable and genuinely memorable.

Together, Rob and his fantastic colleagues accommodated our entire party, arranging three suit purchases and six hires with remarkable efficiency and professionalism.

But what impressed us most wasn’t simply their knowledge or the quality of the suits—it was how they made us feel.

As a same-sex couple, we were treated with genuine warmth, respect and enthusiasm. There was no awkwardness or judgement—just two grooms and their wedding party being made to feel special.

After the experience we’d had earlier that day, that meant more than Rob will probably ever realise.

We walked into CAVANI feeling upset and deflated. We walked out smiling, laughing and excited about our wedding again!

That transformation was entirely down to Rob and his wonderful colleagues.

I genuinely hope CAVANI’s directors and senior management read this review, because Rob deserves serious recognition. He is an absolute asset to the business and a shining example of outstanding customer service.

Very helpful in getting sizes to try on. Changing rooms were roomy and well lit. Good quality suits. Found his suit and brought on the day. Check website for prices as some things don't have prices in store/ you have to ask.

Simply a beautiful suit

The team at House of Cavani Lincoln were absolutely amazing. Elliot spent time discussing suit choices and offering honest feedback to the groom on style and tailoring adjustments. Also receiving a woman’s perspective, Giselle, offered her perspective and assisted other people attending our wedding, getting the best looking suits and styles for all people we pointed in their direction. I would suggest anyone to this team.

We looked everywhere for a tweed blend suit to match the country theme of our wedding, but also to match my Husbands preference. The sizing was amazing too and we could get bigger sizing in store that other shops don't stock. Perfect for broad, tall men!

We really can't recommend House of Cavani Chester enough. Great friendly and flexible service when picking suits. Staff were great and down to earth, no pressure from them. The quality of the suits were amazing and great value for money. Even with a slight last min hitch with shirt sizing a few days before they were straight in it and resolved the situation immediatly and made it all hassle free.

Having tried on a range of different suits it was difficult to know which one to choose. However, when I tried on the Cavani Caridi suit for the first time, I just knew that it had to be the one I would get married in. It fit as if it was tailored just for me without needing any major alterations. The finish is stylish and comfortable and really helped me and my groomsmen look the part on my wedding day.

Can’t thank Greg and his team enough for the great service in getting our wedding attire, made us feel relaxed, welcome and will definitely be using Cavani for future suits, not just for weddings!

We visited the Birmingham store in person on 24th February to get groom and groomsmen suits. The two store assistants were completely gormless and didn't approach us or help in the slightest. They sat behind the desk on their phones and were completely disinterested in the customers. We then ordered the suit from House of Cavani online but decided to send it back. The customer service is shocking. They don't bother to respond in a timely manner so I opened a dispute with PayPal as they weren't showing any signs of refunding me. They started pressuring me to close the case before they refunded me which I refused to do and PayPal themselves said if I was to close the case I definitely wouldn't get a refund as that's a common scam!

They've since 'refunded' me via an echeque on PayPal which isn't clearing (10 days and counting) - meaning I'm still £160 out of pocket when the suit was sent back weeks ago.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

We visited the Birmingham store for our wedding suits with a private appointment where nothing felt too much trouble. We didn't know what style we were after and David was very helpful and helped us try on over 15 different suits. My husband went for the Caridi Olive in the end with black trousers which looked fantastic. Really happy with the service and quality of suit, everyone said how smart they looked.

Luke and the team made this experience effortless, helped diligently with my queries, even last minute changes they were able to accommodate. Great communication throughout, very happy with the service and my suits!

They were fantastic from start to finish, very attentive with responses and created a fantastic bespoke deal for our wedding! Would recommend for any couples in need of a suit provider!
