Design-led wedding floristry rooted in the seasons and sustainability
I’m Karon - florist, grower, and the creative mind behind Meadows & Mulberry Weddings. Based in North Yorkshire, I work across Yorkshire, the North East, Derbyshire and beyond, creating flowers for couples who care about atmosphere, seasonality, and thoughtful design.
I work best with couples who want guidance through the process - whether you have a clear vision or just know the feeling you want. Bold colour, natural movement, and a slightly quirky edge are very welcome. Every design is seasonal, eco-conscious, and bespoke, with some blooms grown myself and the rest sourced from local flower farmers. No floral foam or single-use plastics - just flowers that delight all the senses.
I’m proud to have been named Wedding Florist of the Year for Yorkshire & the North East in 2023 & 2025, and will be attending the National Finals in London. Alongside creativity, you’ll find a calm, organised approach - shaped by my background as a school Director of Sport at Durham High School - ensuring your flowers are beautifully planned from start to finish.
I’m best suited to couples who value seasonal, design-led floristry and want a florist to guide them from first ideas to final details.

How far in advance should I contact you?
As early as you want to.
A piece of advice if you choose a popular date to get married I would advise you book as early as possible as these dates are always taken first
Do you design personalised bridal bouquets?
Yes
Can you travel?
Yes, i cover as far as is needed.
I have worked in Oxfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Northumberland.
And I regularly cover Yorkshire
Is there a charge for traveling?
Yes, if I travel outside of Yorkshire I will charge for my petrol which is charged at 45pence per mile
What is the charge for national mailing?
If required I would just charge what it costs me. There is no added charge
Do you have an advice service?
Yes
Does the advice service have a surcharge?
No
Operating hours:
I work most days and during the evening until 7pm.
My Saturdays are usually taken up with weddings so I am unavailable.
I tend to have Sundays as a day off
What are the forms of payment?
A £250 booking payment secures me for your wedding. Full payment is required approx 2 months before your wedding date

January Wedding - Middleton Lodge Estate
We actually found Karon by complete chance while visiting Middleton Lodge Estate. She was setting up for another wedding and myself, my mam, and everyone with us loved her florals immediately. We instantly fell in love with the florals she was creating. Fast forward to booking our own florist, and there was never any doubt — it had to be her.
From our very first conversation right through to the wedding day, Karon was an absolute dream to work with. She made what felt like an overwhelming task of choosing flowers feel so easy and enjoyable, talking us through every option and really understanding the vision (although we gave her a very vague brief as had no idea) without ever making it stressful.
On the day itself, the venue was truly a dream come true. The florals were absolutely stunning — my bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were more than I could ever have imagined. And the staircase in the main house… honestly the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. It completely took my breath away.
Karon made the decoration of the day and the transition from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast so seamless, and everything looked just as beautiful the second time around. So many of our guests commented on how incredible the flowers were, and the fact that she used British flowers in January made it even more special.
I would recommend Karon to anybody planning their wedding a hundred times over. I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about my wedding flowers 🤍

My wedding
Karon was fantastic. She responded to all queries quickly and came up with some fantastic ideas for my october wedding, especially helpful when I'm quite indecisive and didn't really have a clue. The flowers were also beautiful and went brilliantly with my dress!

The most magical florals!!
Karon is pure magic! My best advice is to trust her creative vision—as someone without an artistic eye, I could never have imagined such a gorgeous setup. If you provide a budget, a color palette, and a few inspiration photos, Karon will truly steal the show.

Winter Wedding
Our florist was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to source the most beautiful British flowers that perfectly matched our colour scheme and even reflected our family history. Every arrangement—from the bouquets and buttonholes to the stunning table wreaths—was crafted with such care and creativity. I genuinely loved them all and wished I could have kept them forever. Her work added so much heart and beauty to our day, and we’re incredibly grateful.

From the first moment I met Karon at a wedding showcase I knew I wanted her to be my wedding florist… not just because her flowers were absolutely incredible and like nothing I’d seen before but everything about her she was so wonderful and instantly puts you at ease when you’re in her presence. I think I booked her not long after we had chose our venue. We had our first meeting over video and she knew instantly what I wanted. I trusted her throughout the whole process. She knew what would look good and if I started to get carried away she kept it reigned in. We kept in touch until the wedding and it was always so fun speaking with her. The day of my wedding came and she went above and beyond… not only had she created the bridal bouquet of my dreams, aswell as the bridesmaids and button holes she decorated my venue exactly how I had envisaged. Nothing was ever too much to ask of Karon and she truly is the best florist around!

Dream florals!
From start to finish Karon was amazing!
The enthusiasm, passion and warmth she brings to her work is entirely unmatched and we are still in absolute awe of the gorgeous arrangements that she designed for our wedding last week. Not only did our flowers look absolutely stunning they also smelled amazing! Karon’s attention to detail and keenness to provide us with our dream florals had such a huge positive impact on our day, the flowers received so so many compliments and some of our guests even took some home with them they were that taken with them. Karon herself was extremely lovely and friendly throughout, she was so kind and helpful in all of her interactions with us. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything that we needed, providing suggestions for beautiful arrangements and also making sure to let the MoH know how the bouquet was to be prepared and where it should be at certain points.

Karon, you are an absolute visionary. From the moment we first spoke, I knew you just got me — and what you created on the day completely blew me away. You took my ideas, my vague Pinterest boards, and my feelings, and somehow turned them into floral artistry that exceeded every expectation.

Fabulous wedding florist
I can highly recommend Karon for her service in wedding floristry. She is very professional and friendly and made me very comfortable at our appointments. She listened to what flowers I wanted and also had suggestions for other flowers to use to enhance my bouquet. My bouquet and flowers were stunning and exactly how I had imagined them to be. She provided seasonal flowers from her own garden to add into my bouquet which I loved and also uses environmentally friendly products. Alongside her professionalism, passion and care in her work Karon was also very budget conscious and provided excellent value for money. Thankyou Karon for making my special day even more beautiful 🌷.

Beautiful flowers & an amazing lady.
I stumbled across Karons instagram profile by chance and fell in love with her style and her use of colour throughout her designs.
Karon was so helpful and patient with my ever changing ideas, my sense of not really knowing what I wanted and my complete lack of knowledge on anything flower related. She gave me ideas, explained how we could achieve certain looks and guided me through the flower journey.
The day arrived and the flowers were stunning. Everyone commented on how beautiful and different the flowers were. Everyone that came into contact with her also commented on what a positive, happy, energetic person she is and she really did bring the happiness to the day.

Incredible
I couldn’t and can’t tell Karon enough times how unbelievable she was on my wedding day and the lead up to it. As the first vendor I booked (2 years in advance!!) she completely understood my vision, ran with it and made it even better. She out of the goodness of her heart stayed after the ceremony and assisted to move the flowers to the wedding breakfast hall AND returned the day after to bunch all our incredible flowers together to hand out to guests so that they didn’t go to waste knowing that we as a couple headed straight off on our honeymoon. SO many people both on the day and after said how incredible our flowers were and that they made the venue- which i absolutely whole heartedly agree with!
Karon herself is a wonderful, warm, fun and personable lady and our wedding wouldn’t have been the vision we had without her!

Amazing Wedding Weekend with Meadows and Mulberry!!!
I live in Los Angeles and flew to Derbyshire to get married at Wildhive Callow Hall. Karon from Meadows and Mulberry was AMAZING. It can be challenging planning a wedding abroad and she not only made the experience so seamless, she made my wedding flower dreams come to life! There was no challenge she wasn’t ready to conquer! I had a very specific vision and she not only executed the vision, she made it even more glorious than I could have ever imagined! She also put me in touch with other vendors such as an event coordinator which is so helpful when you’re a bride and have a ton of vendors to book and don’t know where to start. Don’t think twice about booking Meadows and Mulberry Weddings. Karon will do an extraordinary and thoughtful job and make your wedding gorgeous!

Flower goals! ✨️💐
What can we say, other than thank you beyond measure to Karon for rolling with our autumnal wedding vision and creating the most perfect, gorgeous bouquets and displays I think we've ever seen! Karon has to be magic to create what she did, because she really did capture the essence of us. Everything from the colours, to the flowers she chose to the way they were arranged, was just perfection and we will always be grateful to Karon for delivering the flowers of our dreams and adding to the uniqueness of our wedding! She had the time and patience to bring my vision to life for our special day. I knew from the initial call with her down to earth and lovely personality I could put my full trust in her to do this… when not knowing much about flowers at all she had lots of ideas whilst ensuring everything was sustainable and getting the most of our flowers to use in the ceremony then in the reception/ night.
Personally delivering my bouquet and setting up the day before gave us the opportunity to take in her magic and see all the finishing touches come together before the big day!
