I am a wedding florist based in Hutton Rudby in the North Yorkshire region of England although I do travel to weddings across the North East, Yorkshire, Derbyshire & into Nottinghamshire. I’m Karon the owner, operator & the creative mind behind the blooms.
And I’m delighted to add on 11/11/24 I won Wedding Florist of the Year for Yorkshire and the North East at The Wedding Industry Awards I’m honoured to have been awarded this prestigious award and I will be attending the National Finals held in London January 2025
I only work with fresh, seasonal and dried flowers & if colour is added into the mix you've got me!! I want to create awesome wedding flowers that make you love them when you first see them, and then be transported back to your wedding day year on year.
I create Seasonal & Eco-Friendly Wedding Flower Displays
How do I do that? I use flowers that are in full bloom at the same time each year and the beauty of the flowers I choose, often have a fragrance thus grabbing all the senses!!
I love quirky, bold, natural, & individual - all ideas are embraced, and if you're not sure exactly what it Is you want, well I'll throw ideas into the ring and tease your vision to life.
I grow my own seasonal favourites as well as sourcing flowers from local flower farmers and I work hard to create fantastic decor and arrangements for your wedding that are bespoke to each of my couples. I’m proud that I use seasonal flowers, with an emphasis on an eco-friendly ethos, and customisation for fresh and beautiful pieces. I am a sustainable florist, which means I do not use single use plastic, so no floral foam

Meadows and Mulberry Weddings offers floristry in Yorkshire and Nationwide and I am very willing to travel for weddings. I can craft bouquets, buttonholes, floral headpieces, venue decor, and installations. I want to realise my couples’ unique vision and happily embrace a variety of styles. I love to bring bold, natural, quirky, and individual ideas to life.
My background, as a school director of sport, comes in very handy for planning, organising & meeting the tasks in hand.

How far in advance should I contact you?
As early as you want to.
A piece of advice if you choose a popular date to get married I would advise you book as early as possible as these dates are always taken first
Do you design personalised bridal bouquets?
Yes
Can you travel?
Yes, i cover as far as is needed.
I have worked in Oxfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Northumberland.
And I regularly cover Yorkshire
Is there a charge for traveling?
Yes, if I travel outside of Yorkshire I will charge for my petrol which is charged at 45pence per mile
What is the charge for national mailing?
If required I would just charge what it costs me. There is no added charge
Do you have an advice service?
Yes
Does the advice service have a surcharge?
No
Operating hours:
I work most days and during the evening until 7pm.
My Saturdays are usually taken up with weddings so I am unavailable.
I tend to have Sundays as a day off
What are the forms of payment?
A £250 booking payment secures me for your wedding. Full payment is required approx 2 months before your wedding date

From the first moment I met Karon at a wedding showcase I knew I wanted her to be my wedding florist… not just because her flowers were absolutely incredible and like nothing I’d seen before but everything about her she was so wonderful and instantly puts you at ease when you’re in her presence. I think I booked her not long after we had chose our venue. We had our first meeting over video and she knew instantly what I wanted. I trusted her throughout the whole process. She knew what would look good and if I started to get carried away she kept it reigned in. We kept in touch until the wedding and it was always so fun speaking with her. The day of my wedding came and she went above and beyond… not only had she created the bridal bouquet of my dreams, aswell as the bridesmaids and button holes she decorated my venue exactly how I had envisaged. Nothing was ever too much to ask of Karon and she truly is the best florist around!

Dream florals!
From start to finish Karon was amazing!
The enthusiasm, passion and warmth she brings to her work is entirely unmatched and we are still in absolute awe of the gorgeous arrangements that she designed for our wedding last week. Not only did our flowers look absolutely stunning they also smelled amazing! Karon’s attention to detail and keenness to provide us with our dream florals had such a huge positive impact on our day, the flowers received so so many compliments and some of our guests even took some home with them they were that taken with them. Karon herself was extremely lovely and friendly throughout, she was so kind and helpful in all of her interactions with us. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything that we needed, providing suggestions for beautiful arrangements and also making sure to let the MoH know how the bouquet was to be prepared and where it should be at certain points.

Fabulous wedding florist
I can highly recommend Karon for her service in wedding floristry. She is very professional and friendly and made me very comfortable at our appointments. She listened to what flowers I wanted and also had suggestions for other flowers to use to enhance my bouquet. My bouquet and flowers were stunning and exactly how I had imagined them to be. She provided seasonal flowers from her own garden to add into my bouquet which I loved and also uses environmentally friendly products. Alongside her professionalism, passion and care in her work Karon was also very budget conscious and provided excellent value for money. Thankyou Karon for making my special day even more beautiful 🌷.

Beautiful flowers & an amazing lady.
I stumbled across Karons instagram profile by chance and fell in love with her style and her use of colour throughout her designs.
Karon was so helpful and patient with my ever changing ideas, my sense of not really knowing what I wanted and my complete lack of knowledge on anything flower related. She gave me ideas, explained how we could achieve certain looks and guided me through the flower journey.
The day arrived and the flowers were stunning. Everyone commented on how beautiful and different the flowers were. Everyone that came into contact with her also commented on what a positive, happy, energetic person she is and she really did bring the happiness to the day.
If you are looking for someone who will listen, guide and bring the beauty of flowers to your wedding then Karon is the florist for you.

Incredible
I couldn’t and can’t tell Karon enough times how unbelievable she was on my wedding day and the lead up to it. As the first vendor I booked (2 years in advance!!) she completely understood my vision, ran with it and made it even better. She out of the goodness of her heart stayed after the ceremony and assisted to move the flowers to the wedding breakfast hall AND returned the day after to bunch all our incredible flowers together to hand out to guests so that they didn’t go to waste knowing that we as a couple headed straight off on our honeymoon. SO many people both on the day and after said how incredible our flowers were and that they made the venue- which i absolutely whole heartedly agree with!
Karon herself is a wonderful, warm, fun and personable lady and our wedding wouldn’t have been the vision we had without her!

Amazing Wedding Weekend with Meadows and Mulberry!!!
I live in Los Angeles and flew to Derbyshire to get married at Wildhive Callow Hall. Karon from Meadows and Mulberry was AMAZING. It can be challenging planning a wedding abroad and she not only made the experience so seamless, she made my wedding flower dreams come to life! There was no challenge she wasn’t ready to conquer! I had a very specific vision and she not only executed the vision, she made it even more glorious than I could have ever imagined! She also put me in touch with other vendors such as an event coordinator which is so helpful when you’re a bride and have a ton of vendors to book and don’t know where to start. Don’t think twice about booking Meadows and Mulberry Weddings. Karon will do an extraordinary and thoughtful job and make your wedding gorgeous!

Flower goals! ✨️💐
What can we say, other than thank you beyond measure to Karon for rolling with our autumnal wedding vision and creating the most perfect, gorgeous bouquets and displays I think we've ever seen! Karon has to be magic to create what she did, because she really did capture the essence of us. Everything from the colours, to the flowers she chose to the way they were arranged, was just perfection and we will always be grateful to Karon for delivering the flowers of our dreams and adding to the uniqueness of our wedding! Karon is a true professional and perfectionist at what she does.
She had the time and patience to bring my vision to life for our special day. I knew from the initial call with her down to earth and lovely personality I could put my full trust in her to do this… when not knowing much about flowers at all she had lots of ideas whilst ensuring everything was sustainable and getting the most of our flowers to use in the ceremony then in the reception/ night.
Personally delivering my bouquet and setting up the day before gave us the opportunity to take in her magic and see all the finishing touches come together before the big day!
Thank you with all our heart for the passion and love you put into our day and what you do.

The best of the best
Karon was amazing from start to finish! She guided us perfectly giving us ideas and suggestions that I’d have never thought of! I was drawn to her as every wedding on her instagram is so unique and personal to each couple and wedding style. She took our colour scheme, style and venue and created the perfect floral displays to fit our vibe! My bouquet was beautiful and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how she made the venue look!

Bespoke British Wedding Florals
Karon provided the most amazing wedding floral experience from the minute I booked her, each appointment I had with her added to the wedding planning excitement and created a memorable journey of discussing and stylising my dream wedding florals, from variety of stems, to colour palette, to table decorations, to options of ceremony installations and not forgetting bouquets, the bouquet she created I could have never imagined being so beautiful it brought me to tears, my bridesmaids bouquets complemented their dresses and my bouquet so well. My husband hasn’t stopped talking about the fragrance of the flowers as he walked into the ceremony room with his groomsmen. She’s a decision I’ll never regret and certainly never forget! Stunning Wedding Flowers - Highly Recommend
Karon is just brilliant and I can’t recommend her enough. My husband and I got Married in August at Whinstone View and Karon did the bouquets, flower crowns, button holes and venue decor. Our flowers were just exquisite and so much more than I ever could have imagined.
I discussed with Karon that I really wanted my bouquet to be a relaxed and natural style with lots of pinks but with a pop of colour and wow did she deliver, my bouquet was just stunning and I got so many lovely comments from our guests.
When it came to the venue decor I trusted Karon’s expertise and creativity, again she did not disappoint, the floral decor was just beautiful and they really suited the rustic style of our venue. One thing I loved was Karon’s suggestion to repurpose our flowers throughout the day. My bridesmaid bouquets became some of our table centrepieces and Our ceremony back drop also became the back drop to our top table, cake and even for guest photos.
If anyone is getting married and looking for a florist you need to book meadows&mulberryweddings she is honestly the best and you will not be disappointed.

Creative, supportive and sustainable!
From our first meeting through to our wedding day Karon provided invaluable knowledge and skills to help us bring our vision to life. Taking our autumn theme, personal favourites and our ideas such as incorporating foliage local to the area, Karon created a colour scheme we could have only dreamed of. Karon understood our budget completely and recommended different ways to make sure we could incorporate the features we wanted, and was flexible when making adjustments closer to the time. On the day, we were blown away by Karon's creations, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Her enthusiasm and passion for all things flowers made working with Karon really enjoyable, and her commitment to sustainability was something we had struggled to find in other suppliers. Karon maintained contact with us throughout our planning, and even provided us with tips and support in other aspects of our wedding based on her wealth of experience and contacts in the wedding industry, which was super helpful. Could not recommend enough!!!

The most perfect wedding flowers 🌹
We first came across Karon's work on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her style. Right from the very beginning Karon was fabulous to work with. She was super friendly, easy to talk to and was able to turn our ideas into something spectacular. All of our questions were answered straight away and Karon was on it with absolutely everything.
Our wedding flowers were beyond anything we could have ever imagined and were absolutely beautiful. Karon works hard to ensure her work is sustainable and uses wildflowers/ British flowers that are in season which we loved. Nothing was too much to ask of Karon who went above and beyond for us, even collecting the bottles for our flowers from our parents house.
