Wimbledon School of Freestyle and Ballroom is an established dance school that can create the First Dance that is ideal for you as a couple. All my couples learn different First Dance routines which are tailored to your strengths and what you as a couple want for your First Dance. From simple and unpretentious to more daring we are here for you. My couples have danced everything over the years to many different types of songs and music. Some want slow and traditional. One couple asked for something more daring so we had them start on the floor doing some basic Contemporary Dance Moves and then merging into a Lyrical Hip Hop routine with a few traditional moves. Others start with traditional and then go into another contrasting rhythm e.g. Vienesse Waltz to Jive, or slow traditional into dance comedy. One couple danced the Morecombe and Wise Theme, another the theme from Grandstand. I adapt to you and what you are looking for. Some couples like to include a lift or a dip which I am very happy to do.

My dance school does not judge people. We accept everyone for what they are. All are welcome regardless of sexuality, race or anything else. My First Dance lessons are relaxed and fun. Often people turn up telling me they cannot dance and yet by the end of the lesson they leave surprised that they indeed can dance. It is just a matter of being taught in a friendly way. I am well known by my pupils for my patience. I had to learn to dance once too and I remember well what it is like. So please come to me for your First Dance lessons and I will do my best for you.
