Raised in a small village in the heart of Yorkshire, my little dog Hendricks is who got me into Pet Portraits and you can see my first official painting of him to the right. From learning how to draw Disney characters from my Grandad as a kid, to painting a huge mural on my bedroom wall in high school, you could say I have been creative my whole life. I am honoured to say that in 2024 I graduated and received a 1st in my fashion design and marketing degree, however I knew painting was the path for me after l used oil paint whenever I could in portfolios throughout my whole degree!

Oil paint has been my core media for over 7 years now, as I love the depths it creates and how all the colours blend like butter to bring the subject to life. I find that using oil paint leaves the artwork with a timeless and historical feel due to it’s rich colour and nod to the ‘old greats’ who painted iconic pieces with it.

And so, whether it is a wedding scene or a pet portrait, I promise to paint your timeless creation with love and passion.
