Hello! I am Alexandra, the face and creative force behind Art Larion, based in Glasgow.

I am a full-time watercolour artist and an all-round friendly, personable, and highly organised individual. With over 10 years of professional illustration experience, I bring an expert’s eye to every live watercolour portrait.

I offer two painting styles - detailed&luxurious and quick&expressive.
The former is my signature brushy and illustrative style, typically painted without the guests' faces (though faces can be added if requested). The latter is done with a combination of pen and watercolour, with simplified details and including faces for maximum guest allowance.

Below you'll find a selection of live illustration packages tailored specifically for weddings, accompanied by the specifications for corporate/private events.
Each package has been thoughtfully designed to allow approximately 5-10 minutes per painting, while also factoring in the time spent chatting with guests, posing for photos, and accommodating the natural flow of your event—because the live painting experience is just as much a part of the entertainment as the artwork itself.

Wedding Live Illustration Packages

The following packages apply to wedding bookings only.
Time spent on location: minimum 3 hours

Painting size: A6 - 10.5 × 14.8 cm (4.13 × 5.83 inches)

All packages include an A5-size painting of the newlyweds.

Optional luxury upgrades can be added at checkout to add text at the bottom of each painting or add facial features (for the Detailed & Luxurious Style only).
These are priced separately and are charged to cover the chosen guest count.

This is a hybrid package, and it is suitable for weddings with 100-150 guests.
My time will be divided between painting live and painting in the studio.
In this package, I can also paint guests who could not be present at the event to ensure everyone is included.
All paintings will be delivered to the client after the event for them to distribute to the guests, unless otherwise agreed.

This package includes an additional A6 painting of the cake.

Time spent on location: minimum 3 hours - maximum 7 hours

• Quick & Expressive Style - approx 150 guests

Corporate/Private Events

Bookings are done on an hourly basis.
Hourly rate: £135

Painting size: A6 - 10.5 × 14.8 cm (4.13 × 5.83 inches)

Time spent on location: minimum 2 hours

• Detailed & Luxurious Style - approx 8-10 guests/hour
• Quick & Expressive Style - approx 15-20 guests/hour
