Hi, I’m Rachel, the heart and humour behind The Happily Ever After Celebrant, a wedding officiant in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Think of me as your professional hype woman with a binder. I’ll make you laugh, calm your nerves and tell your love story beautifully. Your ceremony should feel relaxed, romantic and real, not like reading from a script. I’m here to make sure it feels like you, full of love, laughter and maybe a happy tear or two. I bring the warmth, humour and heart that make everyone feel part of your story.
I’m proudly LGBT+ and neurodivergent friendly, and I believe every couple deserves a ceremony that feels true to who they are. This is your story, and I’m here to tell it. It’s all about your day, your way. From nerves to giggles, I’ll be right there making sure it all feels joyful and genuine, keeping everything running smoothly while you focus on the moment. I’m based between Portsmouth and North East London/Essex, creating ceremonies across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Greater London, anywhere within about an hour and a half of either home base.
So whether you’re planning a seaside ceremony, a woodland wedding or something completely your own, I’ll help you make it warm, personal and unforgettable, for all the right reasons. Please do reach out to chat and book. I’d love to create your Happily Ever After with you.

Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’ve always loved all things weddings. Not just the beautiful details, but the meaning behind them. The stories, the emotion, and the moments that make a day truly unforgettable. That love is what led me to become an AMC-accredited wedding celebrant, and it runs through everything I do. Alongside celebrating weddings, I also run a digital wedding stationery business, Olive & Fern Studios, creating Canva-editable templates for couples planning their day. Weddings are very much my world.
I’m also a law student specialising in private client law, so my day to day life involves thinking about love, commitment, family and what comes after the wedding day. It gives me a slightly nerdy appreciation of the “til death do us part” side of marriage, and a strong belief that your ceremony deserves real thought, care and intention.
What I enjoy most is getting to know couples properly. I love hearing how you met, what your dream day looks like, and how you want it to feel. From there, I write a ceremony that reflects you as a couple, your values, your journey and the life you are choosing together.
I have ADHD, so I understand first-hand that people experience big moments differently. I’m proudly neurodivergent and LGBT+ friendly, and I care deeply about creating a calm, supportive space where every couple feels comfortable, understood and celebrated.
On the day itself, I’m there with warmth, reassurance and gentle humour, keeping everything flowing so you can stay present and enjoy the moment. I want your ceremony to feel relaxed, meaningful and genuinely personal.
I’m based in Hampshire and Essex, and I create ceremonies across both counties and the surrounding areas.
I can’t wait to be part of your happily ever after.
