Choosing to elope felt completely right for us, but it also required a huge leap of faith. From that very first conversation, Sara reassured us that our ceremony was in the safest possible hands, and looking back, choosing her as our celebrant was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding journey.

The ceremony she created for us was simply breathtaking. Sara had us each complete questionnaires about our relationship and used our answers to create a ceremony that was completely unique to us. Every word flowed so beautifully, capturing our story more perfectly than we ever imagined possible. It was heartfelt, deeply personal, full of warmth and perfectly balanced with humour. Somehow, Sara managed to put into words feelings we have always struggled to express ourselves.

She didn’t simply tell our family how much we love each other, she made them feel it. She shared the heart and essence of our relationship with such sincerity, grace and joy that it genuinely felt as though she had known us for years. After meeting several celebrants for our wedding, we knew Sara was the perfect fit from our very first conversation. Unlike others who seemed to be running through a standard checklist, she was the only one who took the time to genuinely get to know us; our story, our values, and who we were as people.

Organizing a wedding from abroad came with its own set of challenges, especially with a 12-hour time difference. But Sara couldn't have been more accommodating. She was incredibly patient and always making us feel like a priority despite the distance.

I'll admit, I was initially skeptical Sara’s approach of not giving us the full script before the ceremony. But she won me over by asking thoughtful questions about what we definitely wanted included (and what we didn't). On the day of our wedding I really enjoyed leaving a few elements of the ceremony as surprises. I felt it was far more personal than a rigid, word-for-word reading.

We also loved that she was able to incorporate a handfasting ceremony. It was such a meaningful thing for my wife who wanted a more traditional element to our wedding day.

On the actual wedding day, Sara's experience and expertise truly saved us. I was so overwhelmed with nerves and last-minute chaos that I could barely think straight. Without missing a beat, she calmly stepped in to guide me through the sequence of events, keeping everything on track while I caught my breath. Her reassuring presence made all the difference.

As said by my husband above, we knew that Sara was going to be our celebrant as soon as we spoke to her. Her professionalism, skill, knowledge, and charm put us both at ease. We felt that over the months leading up to the wedding she did her best to get to know us and tailor the ceremony to us. On the day of the wedding she went above and beyond in making us comfortable, guiding guests, and even coming up with seating plans to keep both of our divorced sets of parents from being in positions that might lead to drama. We knew straight away that we wanted Sara to be our celebrant. For such a personal, special and intimate moment in our lives, it immediately felt like we were in such a safe pair of hands with Sara because she is so warm, funny and down to earth. She talked us through everything so clearly, gave us so much advice about the day, including covering practicalities like weather (something we were stressing about a few night before the wedding), and the emotions of it all, and made us feel so reassured. What we were really drawn to was the questionnaire which we did without the other one seeing, which made the actual ceremony so incredibly special, funny and moving. So many people said how brilliant she was on the day, it felt like we had known her for a much longer time. We also thought the script she wrote about us and our story captured us so well, its something we will keep and treasure forever.

We chose Sara because right from the start we liked how efficient and organised she was, and also she was very friendly and personable in our first online chat. She has 3 questionnaires that capture lots of info about the couple, and everything to do with the ceremony. We felt completely in safe hands. She includes a rehearsal the day before, to help us all feel at ease on the day. She tied our two stories together beautifully into a funny and moving tale, including details of how we met, and mentioning our cats. Lots of guests also said how great she was, and how much they enjoyed it. Thank you Sara for helping to make our day so perfect.

Sara was communicative in the build up to the wedding and provided a really personalised ceremony on the day. She suggested a technical rehearsal which was super helpful too. Seven months since we got married and I still can't stop thinking about the amazing ceremony Sara performed for us! We laughed we cried, there was so much love and joy. Sara wrote us such a personal ceremony that told our love story (so far!) and it was so special to have her marry us. She has such a calming presence and we knew we were in safe hands from our first meeting about the wedding. She helped us to work out what we wanted to include in our ceremony and gave us really useful tips when we were writing our vows. Sara made all the readings and music work together seamlessly on the day and I particularly liked the handfasting which was a great opportunity to include some of our loved ones in the ceremony and created such a meaningful moment for us, as well as a lovely physical symbol of our marriage. Sara is a truly fantastic celebrant and we can't recommend her highly enough.

From the moment we met Sara across Zoom we knew our day would be just how we wanted it. Sara was there for us from the start and was willing to personalised our ceremony however we wanted. Sara took into consideration everything we said and made our day perfect. We wanted something a little different to celebrate with our families as we had the legal part during COViD without family. Sara suggested a sand ceremony and it was just what we wanted Sarah explained to our guest exactly what was happening and the meaning of the sand…. All our guests said it was so lovely and Ray and I, felt it made our wedding so special. Sara was great on the day keeping everything together and being gently persuasive when needed. Wow! How incredible Sara made our hand fasting ceremony. From her very first reply to us, with bounds of friendliness and excitement, we knew straight away she was the one to help deliver our very special day.
We chatted over zoom and we filled out her questionnaire so she could write up a very personal and extremely emotional script of our story. She checked in via email regularly to make sure we were happy with the way things were going.
On our special day Sara helped to calm my nerves and spoke with a very relaxed yet joyful tone throughout the ceremony to ensure everything ran smoothly.
