The day was perfect and team were so lovely and helpful.
We had a bit of disruption from our daughter during the ceremony but the team made everything so relaxed and made the time feel like it should be. They worked with the chaos and made a memorable and perfect ceremony for us.
So professional but down to earth and genuinely lovely people. We cannot thank you enough for making the day so special. -

The Perfect Ceremony
We got married at Merrydale Manor in October 2025. The whole process of booking and paying for our registrar was very straight forward. Our registrar, June, reached out to us a few weeks before our wedding and very clearly set out how to complete our profile (which made the process incredibly easy) and provided some additional information about the day. On our wedding day, we both met with June and her colleague Richard prior to the ceremony. They we both very approachable and reassuring and eased our nerves. June did an amazing job at conducting the ceremony and included a personal introduction about how we met, got engaged, etc. All our guests loved it. When it came to doing our vows and personal promises, we both felt very relaxed and they went perfectly, thanks to June and Richard's calming nature. We both loved our ceremony, it couldn't have gone any better. And would love to do it all over again! -

We could not be happier with our wedding ceremony, and we cannot thank our registrar, Mark Crawford, enough for making it so special. From the very first meeting, Mark’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm put us completely at ease. He took the time to get to know us as a couple, crafted a ceremony that perfectly reflected who we are and delivered it with such sincerity and charm that our guests are still talk about it!
Mark struck the perfect balance between heartfelt and joyful — his words were personal, beautifully spoken, and full of meaning. He guided us through every step with patience and care, even when Ben messed his lines up, making the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. On the day itself, his calm presence and friendly demeanor created such a lovely atmosphere, and how he was with our little nephew who was ring bearer was nothing short of amazing.
We couldn’t have imagined a better person to officiate our wedding. Mark truly made our ceremony unforgettable, and we’ll always be grateful for the thought and care he put into it. Thank you, Mark and cheshire east registrars, for giving us the most perfect start to our married life! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding day! 😃
Amy and Prue came to see both myself & my husband before the ceremony and totally put us at ease.
Amy was so clear and easy to follow in the ceremony and helped any nerves we may have had to ebb away! She was professional, well presented, animated and had a wonderful manner with both ourselves and our guests.

Amazing Service
We recently got married and it was an absolute pleasure having Tricia as our registrar for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we met her, she made us feel completely at ease and brought such warmth and calm to the whole process.
On the day itself, she struck the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine care. Her words were heartfelt, her delivery was beautiful, and she guided us through each part of the ceremony with such reassurance. Even in the middle of all the excitement and nerves, Tricia created a space that felt personal, special, and just right for us.
So many of our guests commented afterwards on how lovely she was and how meaningful the ceremony felt. It really wouldn’t have been the same without her.

We originally worked with Gill, who was assigned to us and was very responsive throughout the planning process for a mid-August wedding. Unfortunately, she became unwell close to the wedding, but we were quickly given a replacement celebrant who was fully briefed on everything we had discussed with Gill.
On the day, he was fantastic – funny, clear, and very supportive. As a nervous bride, I really appreciated his patience and the way he helped me to say everything I had to say. He made the ceremony feel personal and relaxed, which was exactly what we had hoped for.
We also received our certificate very quickly afterwards, which was another big plus. Overall, we were extremely happy with the service and grateful for the professionalism and care shown to us at such an important moment. -

Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Registrar
We had the pleasure of having Annette as our registrar, and we feel so lucky she was part of our day. She was so lovely and kind — her calming presence made such a difference in those nervous moments before the ceremony.
Annette took the time to talk us through everything beforehand, making sure we felt comfortable and ready. She brought such a lovely energy to the ceremony itself — professional but light-hearted, and even managed to make it fun, which was exactly what we needed.
