I travel across Yorkshire and beyond, designing bespoke ceremonies in all kinds of venues. From grand settings like Carlton Towers near Goole to rustic spaces such as The Yorkshire Wedding Barn in Richmond, every ceremony is tailored to suit you perfectly.

So often, couples tell me that their guests were blown away by the ceremony, with many saying it was the best they’ve experienced. I think that comes down to the level of care and attention I give, it really means the world to me. I especially enjoy incorporating meaningful symbolic elements, whether that’s inviting your guests to take part in a handfasting (perhaps with gentle music playing), or lighting a remembrance candle to honour loved ones who are with you in spirit. One ceremony that really stood out involved guests blending wildflower seeds together, it was incredibly touching and looked amazing in photos too.

Hearing personal vows shared beneath ancient trees at Saltmarshe Hall in Goole, with the soft sound of a harp in the background.
A celebration at The Faversham in Leeds where the couple’s dog delivered the rings, dressed in a bow tie and corsage to match the groomsmen — and stole the show!
A beautiful ceremony in the deconsecrated St Leonards Chapel at Hazelwood Castle, where a fun-loving couple filled their ceremony with thoughtful, surprise moments for each other.

I first discovered celebrancy after experiencing the powerful impact of a brilliant celebrant at my mum’s wedding. The ceremony was so personal and unique, and it set the tone for the entire day — I came away feeling completely inspired. A few years later, I can honestly say I never imagined just how fulfilling this work would be. My favourite part is connecting with couples and being invited into such an important moment in their lives. Many of my couples become friends, and it’s always an honour to tell their story.
