I love a wedding and that's really part of the reason I decided to become a celebrant. I left my career in education over 10 years ago wanting to do something else I could love.
I live with my significant other, who has been a major factor in me training and becoming qualified as a celebrant and Mrs Meekings, our cat, (who hasn't and really isn't interested in anything unless it's on his terms). Yes, he's a boy and yes he has a girl's name; he's very modern.
I'm originally from Yorkshire and currently spend my time between there and Norfolk and the plan is to relocate to Yorkshire permanently, one day!
I love a good podcast, particuarly a documentary or a drama and I have to confess to listening to The Archers too. (There's a guilty pleasure in all of us somewhere!)
I really enjoy baking (nothing fancy, just good homecooked cakes which might not look swish but taste great). I'll never make Bake Off that's for sure!
My picture is me with my late dad who I know would have been super proud of me doing this.
If you'd like to know whether I'll be a good fit for you and your fiancé/e please do get in touch and let's meet virtually as a starter for 10. It's so important to find the right celebrant for your wedding and seeing and hearing them albeit online is a good place to start.
