Based in Prestatyn, Denbighshire, Humanist Ceremonies North Wales aims to deliver a humanist, non-religious celebration that is meaningful, unique, fun, and as one-of-a-kind as your love for each other. Offering services across North Wales, we will happily work in Welsh, English, or bilingually.

Humanist weddings are amazing. They allow couples to marry where they want, when they want, and how they want. Custom-created for you, they are more flexible and personal than a civil or registered office ceremony. And you can get married on the beach, on a mountain-top, in a barn, at home - in fact anywhere you want to!

I recognise that the day that you join in marriage is your big day, and I will do everything I can to ensure that you remember it for the rest of your lives. Elegant and classic, quirky or informal – what matters the most is that the ceremony is right for you and reflects exactly who you are as a couple.

So what’s involved?

Each humanist wedding is unique and written especially for you. You will have hopes and expectations for your big day, and when we meet, I will provide you with ideas and suggestions to ensure your own ideas become a reality. There will be choices to be made, including personal wording you may want to use to exchange vows and rings. You may also want to include readings, music, or other symbolic actions such as hand-fasting, ring-warming, or lighting a candle. Some couples choose to involve other family members in their ceremony. There’s a lot to think about, but it’s my job to help guide you through your choices and make the experience as fun as it can be!

I’ll write a draft ceremony, which we then edit and perfect together. We can have a rehearsal prior to the wedding. On the big day itself, I will deliver your ceremony, guiding you through the process to make sure that your day is the unique occasion you dreamed of. You’ll receive a printed copy of your script as a keepsake so you can remember every last word of your loving vows.
