  We cannot RECOMMEND enough. the best celebrant!

  Its hard to write a review for Alex, because words do not simply sum up what she gave to us. We are a mixed race, mixed religion, mixed everything couple! Alex spent so much time getting to know us, from face to face meetings, zoom calls and answering our endless questions via whatsapp. She also contacted our bridal party and threw in a few surprises. Alex created the seemingly impossible....a perfect blend of our cultures, beliefs, ideals and views on the world in a 100% unique and unforgettable ceremony which had all our guests complimenting it.
  If you are looking to have your vows and experience mean so much more Alex is your person! We can not stand the "cookie cutter" wedding ceremonys where just the names are swapped out. We had a hand fastening, jumped the broom, readings, and a gospel choir - she made it all fit. This ceremony represented US. Our minds, spirits, soul and most importantly our LOVE.
  Just book her! You will not be disappointed.

  Wonderful wedding celebrant

  We chose Alex to be our celebrant for our wedding in June 2022. We knew from our first conversation that she was the right celebrant for us. Alex listened carefully to our (very long!) story and from this created the most beautiful ceremony.
  
  Our story was captured and relayed perfectly, including the small details. Together we also came up with a new version of the warming of the rings which worked perfectly with our setting and theme for the wedding.
  
  I was feeling anxious during the morning of the wedding as I was getting ready and not involved with setting up, Alex gave me regular updates on how my husband and his friends were getting on with the set up which definitely made me feel calmer!
  
  We wanted a ceremony that reflected us – something relaxed, funny but also sentimental. Our guests were laughing and crying at all the right times. With a great sense of humour, warm personality and a beautiful way with words, Alex really was the perfect celebrant.
  
  Alex kept in touch throughout the process with regular updates and provided advice to us on own vows and to our friends with their readings.
  
  Most of our guests hadn’t attended a ceremony led by a celebrant before and we received so many compliments. In fact, a few of our guests unfortunately missed the ceremony due to transport issues and Alex very kindly re-read the ceremony to them at the start of the drinks reception. She went over and above and we can’t thank her enough.
  
  If you’re considering having Alex as your celebrant then you won’t be disappointed. She really is one of the most wonderful people we have ever met :)

  Daughter's wedding June 2022

  I was father of the bride at my daughter's wedding in June '22 where Alexandra was the celebrant. Alexandra immediately made everybody welcome with her relaxed and engaging manner. She was lovely during the ceremony, hitting just the right note and also did a great job of keeping things rolling along during the day with her firm, but friendly guidance. I was very happy that she was able to play such a key role so well on such an important day for my family. Thank you Alexandra.

  Lovely Alex!

  Alex was great - she took the time to really get to know us well in advance of the wedding, which made the ceremony so personal and special. So many of our guests have told us it was the most personal wedding they had ever been to! She helped assuage any wedding-day jitters, and came up with loads of great ideas to make the celebration special (we particularly loved the warming of the rings and the letters!) - we would certainly recommend Alex if you wanted to make your wedding day that much more special

  Perfectly personal.

  Alex was an incredibly professional and friendly person who made the ceremony for out wedding perfect and personal to us, she was very easy to communicate with and never more than a message away if we ever had any questions or ideas. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a celebrant

  Just perfect. Not one bad aspect. I wish I could get married all over again!!

  Working with Alex was nothing but joy, from start to finish.
  
  My husband and I contacted her with just a few weeks to go until our wedding (we are experts at leaving things until the last minute!). We were very pleased to learn that due to another wedding being postponed thanks to covid, Alex had just become free on the date we wanted her. And so the planning began!
  
  Alex explained that had to be done much more quickly than she’d usually like, because we were so last minute. Within a few days of first contacting Alex, my husband and I met up with her for our initial ‘interview’. That experience in itself was so fun and we knew we were in good hands.
  
  Alex was warm, personable and genuinely interested in us as a couple - everything you’d ever want from a wedding celebrant! She listened carefully to our requests and was flexible with our (frequent) changes of mind.
  
  When we received the first draft of our ceremony, we were surprised and overwhelmed with just how perfectly she’d captured us as a couple. She smashed it first time.
  
  The actual ceremony on the day was beautiful. The perfect balance of humour and romance, lightheartedness and seriousness, our guests all commented on how nice it was to attend a wedding with a personalised ceremony for once.
  
  We honestly couldn’t have asked for someone else to do our ceremony. Alex was spot on and we are eternally grateful that we found her.

  Celebration of Life

  We were so pleased to have found Alex Harrison to help us put my mum to rest. She was empathetic and so obviously genuine in sharing our grief that it was easy to welcome her into our family for that difficult and emotional period of time. She went above and beyond the call of duty by traveling out to meet our dad, to get to know him and to talk to him about our mum so she could be ready to support fully on the day. In the lead up to the service, there was much to organise and she helped make this happen with patience and understanding. On the day, the service was beautifully organised, calm, empathetic and absolutely in tune with what the family needed at that delicate time. Thank you, Alex, for playing such a central role in bringing us comfort and helping us all lay our mum to rest.

  Suprise Renewal of Vows

  We hired Alex for a very unusual renewal of vows for our parents Golden Wedding Anniversary; unusual because our Mother knew nothing about it!
  
  Alex went to great lengths to ensure she captured the memories of their 50+ years together and what marriage and family meant to them both.
  
  She came up with an ingenious way of leading into the ceremony without our mother being aware of what was going on meaning it was a total surprise to her. Alex captured everything we wanted from the day and more ensuring that we created a very special day that will be cherished by our parents forever.
