Hi, I am Debbie and I am a wedding celebrant based in the south of Lincolnshire but also serving Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Peterborough, Leicestershire, Rutland and surrounding areas. I craft and deliver weddings for couples who wish for a unique ceremony that is deeply personal to them. Whether you want a classic service or something completely different, together we will create a ceremony that reflects your hopes and dreams.
With a celebrant-led wedding, you can have a beautifully bespoke ceremony that is utterly joyful. There are no set scripts, and you are not restricted to licensed venues. With a celebrant, there really are no rules – anything you want is possible. You have the freedom to decide exactly how you want to do things; it is your day, your way.
Your wedding will be unique and completely written to represent you as a couple. I can help you write your own personal vows to each other to create a ceremony with love at its heart. There are no boundaries with your own choice of music and readings - family, friends, and even pets can also play a part in your service!
Along with the bespoke wording, you could choose to include a symbolic ritual to make your wedding day even more memorable. You might like to ‘tie the knot’ with ancient handfasting, or maybe you would like your guests to bless your wedding rings with a ring-warming ceremony. A sand ceremony is a wonderfully meaningful way to bring a blended family together. There are many rituals, and you can do whatever feels right for you - making memories to treasure.

The most perfect day.
Debbie takes the time to get to know you - she spoke to us face to face and also asked us to complete a questionnaire to give us time to think about our journey and obtain unique information about us. She then used those answers to tailor a truly bespoke ceremony that captured everyone on the day. Not only did it tell our journey of meeting and falling in love, our aspirations and hopes, it created laughter and joy. She handled loss that we had experienced in the past that contributed to Nick and I finding each other so sensitively, delicately weaving it into the ceremony.
As soon as Debbie arrived on the day, she made us feel calm and put everyone at ease. She is very organised and we completely trusted her to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
After discussions about how to make the day special, we chose to have a hand fastening ceremony at the end of the service and have a fabulous reminder of our wonderful day.
Our friends and family all said how memorable she had made the day and how special it was.

Until July this year, I was a work-addicted primary teacher of nearly 30 years. However, I decided it was time for a change and two days after leaving the classroom, I trained with the ICPC to become a professional celebrant. Now I am using the many skills that teaching taught me to write and deliver beautiful, unique wedding ceremonies.
I am creative, dedicated, unflappable and used to dealing with all manner of unpredictable challenges. These qualities lend themselves to me successfully and passionately planning your perfect wedding ceremony - whatever and wherever you want that to be.
