I’m Becky, a wedding celebrant based in Warwickshire, working across the Cotswolds, Birmingham, the West Midlands and further afield.

I bloody love working with couples getting married for the second or third time, with people getting married later in life, and with anyone who looks at the traditional version of the wedding world and thinks, “erm, yep, not us.”

A lot of the couples who find me have lived a bit. They know themselves better now, they know what matters to them, and they’re usually much less interested in doing things just because that’s what weddings are 'supposed' to look like. There are no assumptions here about what a couple looks like, who does what, or how your wedding should work.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent 25 years working in brand and marketing. A huge part of that job was getting under the skin of something and working out what made it different, interesting and then telling the world about it, so everyone understood. It turns out that is a pretty useful skill when you’re creating wedding ceremonies too.

I spend time getting to know you properly and working out your secret sauce. The stuff that makes the two of you, you. The things your friends instantly recognise as very you, the parts of your history that matter, and the things you want the people around you to really get about why this matters to you both.

I work with you over time, so by the time the wedding comes around I know you, you know me, and I’m not a stranger turning up with Script A, B, or C and your names post-it noted to the top. I ask a lot of questions, listen carefully, write the ceremony from scratch, and only when you're both happy do we have a ceremony ready to go.

On the day, I lead your ceremony, making sure you're right in the middle of everything, taking it all in. Knowing that you are fully seen, heard and understood.

Wedding ceremonies start from £650 - they have almost everything you'd want. If you want rehearsals, vows created for you both separately, bespoke designed and printed vows or readings, along with in-person meetings, the fee goes up to £995...but I'm a firm believer in there's always a way to make things work around what you want.
