We were really disappointed with Alpine Pizzas at our wedding. Although we received a small amount of compensation afterwards, it doesn’t come close to making up for the issues on the night.
Firstly they went to the wrong address and turned up late.
Service was extremely slow as only one person was running the van,, which was never going to be enough or keep up!
He did well for being on his own but one person working a van is never going to be enough when working within a time period.

He was cooking roughly 3 pizzas every 10 minutes. If guests have ½ a pizza each (Alpine say they cater ¾ of a pizza per person), that means he was serving around 6 people every 10 minutes. Over a 2‑hour service window, that’s a maximum of 72 people, so they were never going to achieve the 120 people we had paid for. The maths simply doesn’t add up, they were destined to fail from the start!

We had massively over‑catered to ensure plenty of pizzas leftover for later in the evening, as advertised. They were supposed to provide boxes for leftovers and all pizzas to be cooked and boxed,, but they never brought boxes with them!!

They claim there were only 10 pizzas left uncooked, but given we over-ordered by 44 guests, this is very hard to believe, but either way we didn't get those 10 pizzas as they didnt bring boxes!!

Overall, the service fell far short of what we paid for. If you book them, make sure you check how many staff will be attending to ensure the service can actually meet the numbers you’re paying for.
Our wedding guests were expected to spend all evening outside queuing for pizza as they only sent one person, which isnt what we wanted at our wedding.

We had the Alpine Pizza Co for our evening wedding food and they were fantastic. Everyone commented on how incredible to pizza was and they couldn't have been easier to work with on the day. They even came to ask us what pizzas we loved at the start of night, knowing that we wouldn't get chance to have one, so that they could put some to the side for us (which our coordinator then left on our beds for us - UNREAL). Thank again for a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!
