The best wedding feast ever!

Mike & Ollie surpassed our expectations. They are so great to work with and the food - we were blown away. The guests have non stop being saying how good it was, in fact quote of the wedding 'my biggest regret in life was not having more of the lamb' - that speaks for itself. We made the best decision working with M&O and cannot thank them enough. Do not hesitate to get them booked in for what will be the best wedding food you will ever eat. Thank you!

Our only upset is that we can’t currently think of an excuse to do it again!

Hi Mike, Ollie and Faith, just a belated post-wedding comedown/afterglow email to say a huge thanks to you and your team for doing such a brilliant job at our wedding.

The food was excellent (the lamb, wow!) and we had so many gushing compliments from guests who really appreciated both the quality and the service.

We also loved the sharing plate style and presentation, which made it feel like a great big dinner party - exactly the vibe we were hoping for. And after all the chat about canapés, I don’t think Gaby and I had a single one as we were whisked off for photos, but everyone assured us they were great!

Timings were also perfect, taking any potential stress on that front out of the day for us.

All very much appreciated. Our only upset is that we can’t currently think of an excuse to do it again! Will keep working on that though!

Hi Mike,

I’m so sorry for the delay – I’ve just started a new job! But I didn’t want any more time to pass without saying the biggest thank you for the incredible wedding feast you created for us.

It truly was the highlight of the evening. We’ve had so many of our guests tell us how amazing the food was. The canapés were so unique – definitely not your usual wedding fare – and they were absolutely delicious. Every single one, I am so glad we chose six - we loved the panko pheasant and the halloumi , also the sheets of paper thin meat!

The dinner was everything we hoped for. We wanted something that felt like a relaxed, family-style meal that would get people talking, and you nailed it. The colourful spreads, the shared breads and dips, the pickled veg, and that beautiful beetroot salad – everything felt so thoughtful and perfectly in tune with our tastes. Knowing it was all locally produced made it even more special.

The main course was cooked to perfection. We didn’t realise the chicken would be served whole, but we actually loved that – it gave the meal a real communal, homey feel, with someone at the table carving for everyone. The cauliflower was also a big hit!

Your team were wonderful, and the entire experience was just flawless from start to finish. Thank you so much for helping make our day so memorable.

It was such a joyous day and we are still on cloud 9, reflecting on such a special day with all our friends and family.

Mike, thank you so much for the most amazing service and food by your team. I cannot tell you how good the feedback was from our guests on the food and particularly the lamb. For me the basque cheesecake was an absolute highlight. Your catering really added to such a special day for Sarah and I.

This food feels like it's healed me

Hi Mike,

Thank you for all your help on the day itself and leading up to it. We had a wonderful time and everyone raved about the food!

The food on the day was delicious, and everyone loved it. There was so much to go around, no one went hungry! The staff on the day were so great.

Leading up to the day you were so helpful and organised. The client folder was a great idea, and we really felt that we were dealing with people that knew exactly what they were doing! It was good to know we were in safe hands. There was a couple of times there was some misunderstandings but I think that was due to the wedding planner relaying things that got miscommunicated, and they were very quickly cleared up.

We highly, highly recommend you to anyone looking for catering for their wedding, or any event. One of the bridesmaids said, and I quote "This food feels like it's healed me".

Outstanding Wedding Dinner!

Catering for a wedding can be pretty scary: if you're here and thinking too much about it, trust your gut and go with Mike & Ollie!

The food was by far the best we've had at a wedding (and that's not just us being biased!) they were incredibly flexible to dietary requirements, sorting out a few vegans and even providing a whole table with a Halal friendly dinner. The lamb was outstanding.

Additionally, the wait-staff were very good and helped us with service beyond the food into the realm of cocktails.

Can't recommend enough, thanks once again!

Biggest heartfelt thank you

I wanted to pass on the biggest heartfelt thank you for Saturday. You have been an absolute dream to work with throughout this whole process right from the start. The food was out of this world, how your team produced that in a little tent in the middle of a field I will never get my head around. Every dish was just delicious and I honestly wish I could eat it all over again without the nerves!😭 everyone was so friendly and kind, they looked after everyone so well and just blended into the day so seamlessly. No one bothered me or Chris even once, any questions were directed to groomsmen and bridesmaids which just allowed us to relax. It was just perfect and I am so happy I found you! It had such a positive influence on the whole wedding and I did not have to worry about anything, (despite being a complete worrier and control freak) you just did it all and let me enjoy my day! Thank you so so much for everything.

A phenomenal feast

What can I say - food was delicious, filling and beautifully presented, lamb just melted off the bone. I just love the sharing/feasting style for a less formal and more communal feel to the wedding meal. Rather than plated desserts we opted for a buffet table of mini desserts near the dance floor. Mike was great during the planning process in helping us to make selections and tweak the menu to our liking. My only regret is being too preoccupied to eat as much as I normally would - I just wish I could go back and eat it all again!
