Beyond Amazing

Gail created the most stunning cake we have ever seen. The brief we gave was Warhammer meets Art Deco and we were blown away. The attention to detail in every stone and pillar of a futuristic sc-fi battle scene, whilst maintaining the delicate details of the 1920's aspects was breath-taking. It was truly a work of art, almost too beautiful to cut into. The design was elegant and imaginative, perfectly capturing the occasion. You could tell Gail and team poured their heart into making it, and we are so grateful for their incredible creativity and passion. It was a masterpiece from start to finish. And to top it all it tasted amazing, would definitely the coffee cake!!

Gorgeous Cake That Tasted As Good As It Looked

After having spoke to 3 other wedding cake makers and tried (a lot) of cake samples at a wedding fair in Builth Wells, Gail's cakes were hands down the tastiest we had. We also had a very rustic/boho style wedding in mind and looked and looked for someone who really specialised in naked cake styles, which is where Gail really stood out from the others!

Suffice to say we went for a naked cake, decorated with fruit and flowers and it really was stunning! I can hand on heart say that it's the best cake I have ever eaten and I had so many guests come up to me in the evening asking who had made our cake because it was so delicious!

Not only this, Gail was super professional and really helpful from the time we enquired to the day of our wedding. She delivered it to our venue in a timely manner and sorted all of the decorating for us, saving us any additional stress on the day.

I would recommend Gail to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion, but especially a wedding! Thank you so much!

Exceptional in every way

Gail is a true master of her craft. From start to finish she was efficient, professional and responsive, clearly listening to our brief and requirements and tailoring her work to meet them intuitively and easily.
She gave us sound advice on numbers and dimensions, displayed the cakes beautifully and everything was so thought through.
Every flavour was perfectly balanced and you can see how gorgeously decorated everything was.
Even the gluten free options were delicious - you could not tell the difference!
We absolutely cannot rate her enough. We are so glad we found her. Thank you for creating such amazing treats. There was nothing left!

Gail was so friendly and helpful from the moment we got in touch with her. Listening to what we wanted and offering advice when we asked for it, she was always so helpful. Our cake looks exactly as I pictured it, and tasted so delicious that many of our guests said it was the best Victoria sponge cake they'd ever had. Would 100% recommend Gail if you are looking for a wedding cake.

We loved our cake

We chose a to tier cake, with a different flavour per tier. Lime and coconut for one and raspberry and white chocolate for the other. We asked for a semi naked cake, decorated in colours to match our wedding - gold, green and white. This is what Gail provided. We paid for delivery to our venue, Craig Y Nos Castle, where Gail worked with the wedding team to get it all ready for our photographs. The cake was cut and served as part of our evening buffet - loads of people commented how lovely it was. Overall very happy with the quality of the finished product.

Everything and more!

The cake Gail made for our wedding was everything and more! Communication was extremely easy and constant despite how busy Gail was/is! I had a rough idea of what I was hoping for but was very much open to suggestions, after discussing this with Gail I sent over some inspo pictures, she then took these and came up with 4 designs based on the images I sent, her suggestions and my wedding colour scheme/theme. All her designs were brilliant but one really stood out to me, it was everything I'd imagined and so much more! Funnily enough it was also Gail's favourite. Once the design was finalised we discussed flavours, of which there were loads to choose from! My husband has to be gluten free and I had previously wondered if that could reduce our flavour options but this was not the case at all! Gail then sent me samples of a few different flavours which was so beneficial and the chance to see how different the gluten-free option would be. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the gluten-free samples and in fact I actually preferred one of the gluten free samples to the regular version! Although they were all delicious! So with that we decided to make the whole cake gluten-free which also gave peace of mind as there'd be no risk of contamination! The final product on the day was perfect! Absolutely stunning, with the perfect taste and texture! It received so many compliments. Cannot recommend Gail enough!

A summer wedding of fun

We had an amazing experience with Gail and the cake was absolutely gorgeous. We went in with an idea of what we wanted to fit in with our theme and Gail and the team really did deliver.

Fabulous and tasty cake

We had our cake made by Gail and she was nothing but very proffesional from start to finish. She was very quick at replying to our request and queries. The sample box of cakes we bought from her came very quick and were all very delicious. We had problems decided .
On the day she came and provided us with a beautiful cake which she decorated with fruit and berries and flowers from our florists . It was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommended Gail and her cakes!!

Excellent cake

The cake was delivered on time and super delicious. The seller was quite helpful and gave us lots of suggestions on cake design and flavors. Very nice experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning their wedding cake. Thanks Gail!
