Everyone loved our cake and it was the best tasting cake of all the companies we tried. It wasn’t overly sweet like children birthday cake and was beautiful and light. The cake also was stunning and better than we imagined
All emails were promptly dealt with and communication was so easy, would recommend booking. -

Beautiful simple wedding cake
Kate was friendly, easy to communicate with and knowledgeable and baked us a delicious, beautiful wedding cake decorated with real flowers. We were happy with the cake and received compliments from guests both on its appearance and taste. -

We met Kate at a wedding fair in Milton Keynes. Since tasting that delicious slice of lime and coconut cake we knew right then that this was the cake for us.
The whole consultation and tasting was a dream, and the finished product was exactly what we pictured and imagined.
If you are looking for a cake for your event we can not recommend Kate high enough. -

Katalin is an amazing cake maker who made in the most beautiful and delicious cake for our August wedding. Katalin took our vision and made it better than anything we could have imagined. The cake was so tasty and all our guests were complimenting how amazing it was!! Thank you so much! Katalin has been amazing from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend her services enough!! worth every penny!! -

The perfect wedding cake
We could not have been happier with the beautiful and delicious cake that Katalin created for us. We wanted a pressed flower design with specific flowers and colours and Katalin exceeded my expectations with what she created. You could really see the time and effort that went into making this cake perfect for us and I believe it was one of the first pressed flower designs that she had done.
The cakes were also absolutely delicious and we had some vegan cupcakes made too which smelt amazing. Thank you so much for making my wedding cake dreams come true. -

Incredible Wedding Cake
We would 100% recommend KB Cake Design to anyone. We were so happy with our wedding cake, it looked and tasted absolutely amazing. All of our wedding guests commented on how nice the cake looked and tasted. Our wedding cake was incredible and we could not recommend KB Cake Design enough. Kate is a step above the rest. -

Kate was an amazing help throughout the whole process in addition to make an incredible cake! We weren’t sure what type of cake we wanted initially, so Kate helped talk us through our options until we decided on something we were happy with. Deciding on flavours was very difficult though since they were all brilliant, and we ended up going with two more unusual flavours which all our guests loved! She also made a small allergen free cake for my mother which she loved. -

Second-to-none Wedding Cake - absolutely fantastic
KB Cake Design provided a wonderful service and supplied the wedding cake of our dreams which we, and our guests absolutely loved. Several guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted, which was wonderful to hear.
We very much enjoyed eating it on the day (despite people telling us in advance that you are too full of emotions and adrenaline to eat much on your wedding day - definitely not true in our case!)
Kate really helped us with the design; we provided a few pictures and ideas of what we had in mind and she brought it to life. She showed a lot of patience and talked us through all of the decisions, and didn't mind that we changed our mind about a few things during the process.
The taster box is well worth doing, and helped us identified the three flavours we wanted for the different tiers - we chose strawberry and vanilla, raspberry and white chocolate, and lemon and elderflower. All tasted incredible, and the sponge was very light and moist. It was iced beautifully, with flowers and birds added, exactly as we envisaged.
Kate also made cupcakes in the same style, for people with allergies or who were gluten free. These looked lovely next to the main cake, and our guests with special dietary requirements appreciated these very much.
The wedding cake was a really important part of our day and it added so much. We can't wait to eat the piece we've got saved in the freezer for our one year anniversary.
I thoroughly recommend KB Cake Design to anyone planning a wedding or other big event. You will not regret it! -

Our cake was absolutely stunning! The sugarwork was incredible and the guests loved the cake with many taking seconds home with them. Working with KB cakes was a pleasure from the get go and she delivered my vision beautifully. The cake even stood up to the very hot day we had and being carried from spot to spot in the venue!
