Dollybird Bakes is known for it's attention to detail, straight edges, creative designs, and delicious bakes.
Designing, creating, making and baking from her cake studio in Cornwall. Each cake is baked by Hayley, sourcing and supporting other local business wherever possible, using the finest ingredients available.
Hayley's creations & designs have been featured in national and international publications including OK Magazine, Cake Masters Magazine, Weddings Cakes Magazine, You & Your Wedding & Your Wedding.
She has also been commissioned to create tutorials for international magazines and a worldwide icing manufacturer.
Established in 2012, Hayley has been lucky enough to have been taught by some of the industry's leaders such as: Master Chocolatier & Bake Off's Creme de la Creme winner Mark Tilling, Sharon Wee, Tracey James of 'Cotton & Crumbs', Tracy Rothwell of 'Little Cherry Cake Company' & Zoe's Fancy Cakes!
In an ever changing creative environment, Hayley takes time each year to develop and further her skills as she feels its important to keep current and up to date.

How much do your services cost?
Cakes are bespoke a made to your specifications. The price of your cake will depend upon the number of people you wish the cake to feed & the design and detail you would like. I have a price guide over on my website, but please contact us for a more specific no obligation quote or consultation.
Do you offer any other services?
Yes cakes and also most edible sweet treats..... so think wedding favours, or a beautiful dessert table for your wedding. That said I have lots of contacts in the industry locally so if I can help point you in the right direction, just ask!!
How much notice do I need to give you?
Its best to book with as much notice as you have - popular dates get booked up quickly. Dollybird Bakes only takes a limited number of orders each week to ensure a high standard of work and attention to detail. Quality over quantity every time!
Do you deliver?
Yes I personally deliver and set up your wedding cake on the day of your wedding. In some instances this is compulsory due to the chosen design. There is a small delivery and milage charge, please contact us for a quote, with your venue''s postcode. We are experienced in the delivery of our cakes, Cornwall and Devon doesn''t always have the best of roads, not to mention a few cattle grids!! Let us take the stress out of this aspect of your day.

Can we hire cake stands and display items?
Yes I have a wide range of cake stands and items available for hire for your day, so your cake looks at its best for your day & pictures!
Can I use fresh flowers to decorate my cake?
Yes you can, I would work along side your chosen florist to ensure that the right amount of blooms / arrangements were ordered, for the cake. Some blooms are not cake friendly but this is something that I will discuss with your florist. I would dress your cake with the blooms on the morning of the wedding to ensure that none of the stems contaminate the cake etc and everything looks just as we planned! There is also the option of edible blooms in the summer months too!! A real treat and sourced locally too!
