As a plus size bride I was dreading having to find a dress for my wedding. It was a day I had dreamed of but couldn’t imagine finding a dress that I felt comfortable in. I had recently helped several friends find their dresses who were much smaller than me (I am a uk 18/20) and watched them have to be pinned into a dress that was much smaller than them at an appointment. I know that shops cannot hold every size but didn’t hold any hope that I would be able to find a shop with dresses that could even be pinned to me let alone actually fit me. However, after lots of searching I found Angelica bridal, I originally found their other store but was excited to see they had a curve store. It was extremely easy to book an appointment and I have never felt so at ease going clothes shopping. There was such an amazing range of dresses and the experience felt so personal. The team there are all so lovely and remembered us each time we came. I couldn’t recommend the shop enough for any plus size brides trying to find a wedding dress.Angelica Bridal Curve's reply:

Amazing visit for my wedding dress
I went to Angelica curve all the way from the midlands as nothing local to me compared to their dresses. From the moment I made contact to ask questions on Instagram to having my appointment with Ella, Everything was amazing!
I got to try on lots of dresses, look at the dresses to pick extras to that I sent over ahead of my appointment.
I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone looking for their perfect dress

After having a very last minute change of heart on a dress bought else where I came across Angelica Bridal who happened to be holding a sample sale. From the moment of arrival Ella was so welcoming and knowledgable on all things wedding dresses! I ended up finding my dream dress and I am soo pleased I took the plunge and booked myself in! Would highly recommend Angelica Bridal if you want a lovely experience as well as a huge range of dresses to try! Thank you so much! 😊 -

I went to a sample sale at Angelica Bridal Curve and it was also my first time trying on wedding dresses. The experience was phenomenal. There were so many different styles to choose from and the staff was so friendly and had a very good ear for what I wanted. I didn't feel pressured to commit. I am so glad to have found my wedding dress there and cannot recommend them enough! -

Angelica Bridal was the last store of my bridal fitting day and for some reason, I knew deep down I’d find my wedding dress there! Bridget was so lovely and not pushy. I had Millie who helped me on my first visit and she was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable as I was quite anxious being on the larger side.
I loved one dress in particular but it was sleeveless which I wasn’t comfortable with so she suggested some sleeves to add to the dress and it totally was a game changer. My dress has now arrived and will be starting adjustments soon for the big day in December and I am so excited and can’t wait to wear my amazing dress.
I have not just had dealings with Millie. Everyone I have dealt with at Angelica Curve have been so lovely. I highly recommend them.Angelica Bridal Curve's reply:

I’m so glad I found this beautiful wedding dress shop In Islington the service was amazing Jodie was so lovely and helped me from start till finish I want to give her a big thank you for everything and helping me find my beautiful dress….

Comfortable, welcoming environment.
Had an incredible time visiting this boutique after calling other shops to check they had my size to try on- none did. Wanted a shop that I wasn’t ‘imagining’ how a dress would look in my size and this shop did just that. I ended up saying yes to the dress and even the aftercare team were amazing when there was a hiccup with my sizing. Imogen really is a credit to the team- as are all the other girls I had been emailing.
All dresses are beautiful and you have such a wide range to choose from, I went for something classic with a twist to suit my personality. 😊😊Angelica Bridal Curve's reply:
