On entering Jo’s boutique, I was met with a chalkboard with my name written on it to welcome me, and gifted a bracelet as a token of thanks for supporting her small business, and gestures like these remind you why it is so worthwhile to do so, as she instantly made me feel so special with just these few actions. From the moment I booked my initial appointment with Jo right through to collecting my dress, the communication was fantastic, and I felt supported every step of the way. During both trips where I was accompanied for fittings, Jo was excellent at engaging with my guests while I was otherwise occupied, and during the fitting process, ensured my guests felt included and listened to comments and suggestions without at any point allowing me to feel pressured by either hers or my guests’ input. During the initial consultation, Jo encouraged me to go beyond my comfort zone by trying on a range of dresses, all of different shapes and styles, and all of which looked stunning and made me feel wonderful, even when I feared I would look dreadful in one or two! She listened attentively to concerns I had regarding body confidence, and with an amazing sense of humour and patience, walked me through my options and helped guide me to the dress of my dreams and to one that complimented my body shape perfectly. She also took the time to experiment with accessories and various configurations until I was absolutely certain I was ready to ‘say yes to the dress’, and ensured I left with all I needed to know about the care and storage of my dress, and when to expect delivery of my additional items (belt, tiara and veil), and even provided a helpful information sheet for the relative tasked with getting me into the dress on the day, which was greatly appreciated! On top of all this, on leaving my last appointment, I was gifted an amazing promotional goodie bag with coupons and money-off vouchers for bridal services, and with those, a beautiful branded notebook and pen, water bottle and a (much-appreciated!) little tipple! What a fabulous experience all-round, and I cannot recommend Jo highly enough, though I will do my best nevertheless if ever a family member or friend needs a recommendation for their own wedding!Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

Wow, this was the best experience I have had! The second I walked in Keira was there with a smile on her face. She made me feel so at ease and allowed me to enjoy every second! I tried on 5 dresses and the 6th dress was the one Keira picked out and it was my dress. Both ladies, Keira & Jo were so warming. If anyone needs a dress I would 100% recommend. Thank you ladies for making the experience of finding my wedding dress the best! 🥹🤍 -

Love and Lace.
From making the appointment to picking up my dream dress nothing was too much trouble for Jo.
From the moment we walked in to pick out a selection of dresses was absolutely amazing I felt like noone else mattered while I was there. Was no rushing and felt amazing. Was warmly welcomed by Jo. She took in what I wanted and what I didn't, had in mind my budget too. I found my dream dress that day and I couldn't have been happier with the help and service I received.Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

Amazing start to finish
I lost my mum suddenly and decided to get married with only a couple of months to the wedding. I went into love and Lace, they couldn’t do enough for me, even though I need to find a dress that was potential one of their sample dresses. I thought I would want a tea length dress, after trying on a few of these Jo came in with a long dress, I tried it on and knew it was the one, it wasn’t something I would have chosen for myself but it fitted like a glove and I felt amazing. This was one of the sample dresses, that was no issue and I left that day with the dress of my dreams. What a great eye Jo has for the right dress straight away she knew and had it spot on. Everyone made me feel very special and nothing was too much trouble.Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

**PLEASE READ TO THE END**
So as an alternative, non girly, plus size, post pregnancy bride I’m not the easiest client and I admitted this upon booking the appointment with Jo and Kiera.
I also explained to these two amazing ladies that I’d had 3 horrendous experiences with other bridal shops that categorically refused to help me, saying “we don’t cater for people like you”
So immediately I had my guard up and was almost in fight/flight mode.
Jo rang me over a week before my appointment and apologised for these previous experiences, explained that I had nothing to worry about and that it would be a new and positive experience for me…… I was still very skeptical!
Anyway the day arrived and myself, mum, auntie, and matron of honour arrive for this appointment! It’s the VIB (100% recommend this more than worth the money and created memories that will last forever) we walk in get settled, prosecco, snacks and a good chat about anything and everything! Very calming and comforting and relaxing.
So we pick out a massive collection of dresses and it begins. I explained my vision and these ladies put me in things that matched the vision and things polar opposite to the vision!
I struggled initially getting dressed and undressed as I’m very conscious about being plus size, my post pregnancy body etc. Kiera stood me in front of that mirror in my underwear and gave me, single-handedly the most amazing and beautiful pep talk that I’ve ever had in my life and from then on I felt like I was just having a shopping day out with my best friends and they were both so accommodating and honest with me about everything!!!
Then suddenly we found it..,,,,, the dress of my dreams (completely different to what I’d envisioned). Jo and Keira had both said they loved this dress and that they thought it was “my dress” before I even tried it on……. They were right of course!!!
I fell in love and every dress afterwards felt underwhelming. Jo and Keira both recognised this and decided to get me back into THE dress!!!
We cried, we hugged, they even got me in a veil which had always been a hard no but I now have the longest most elegant veil ever for my special day.
So we ordered the dress and had photos and more Prosecco….. now if you think that’s where this review ends you’re very wrong…….. here comes the icing on the cake for me and my family!!
So upon arriving we had a good chat and I explained that I wasn’t sure I could commit to a dress without my grandmother seeing it as she was the one who asked to buy it for me and she had been a bridal seamstress for years!! She was at the time very ill and bed bound so wasn’t able to be there unfortunately.
When we sat down to order this dress from the designer Jo hit us with the most amazing and unexpected offer. Not only were we getting the entire video of this appointment but she said that she would book in with me and bring ge sample dress to my grandparents house so I could show her what I’d chosen. Tears, tears and more tears - I’m sure I owe her a lifetime supply of tissues after this appointment.
These ladies did not know me or my family or anything else like that. I was just another customer in theory. But believe me when I tell you we all left that appointment feeling like we had just made friends for life and feeling so comforted and happy that we had been so well looked after.
If you’ve made it to the end of this review you will understand why it’s so long - I can’t condense this experience as it would not do it enough justice!!
Just go for it, go meet Jo and Keira and let them make your dreams the most beautiful reality! So much love and respect for you both forever and always! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!♥️Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

As soon as I read your msg regarding the experience you had already had I was so saddened by it. I knew this would NEVER happen with us and why I was confident that you would leave our boutique happy and confident even if you didn’t find ‘the dress’.
However you 100% did and you look incredible in it.
We are both so happy to of met you and your lovely family, and it was a pleasure to watch you grow into such confident women in such a short space of time.

Love&Lace Sleaford, highly recommend
Love & Lace Bridal Boutique Sleaford Lincolnshire, is a beautiful boutique where you will receive a warm welcome from the moment you step through the door. They take the time to listen to your plans, your ideas and the styles of dresses you like . Not once did I feel pressured to buy a dress, I was able to try many different styles and retry my favourites. Keira who i had an appointment with was honesty amazing! she was very knowledgeable and not only did she make the whole experience great for me but she also interacted alot with my bridesmaids who had accompanied me, this meant a lot to me.
My appointment was a private one to one appointment at the back of Love&Lace so no one from the street could see us. The dressing room and waiting area are a good size with lovely touches like sweets, water for us all, a bride robe, deodorant etc. This was the first bridal shop I had ever walked into and I didn't need to go elsewhere, as I said 'yes' to the dress at Love&Lace Sleaford. I had an incredible experience at Love & Lace Bridal. It was the first dress shop I went to and its fair to say they set the bar extremely high. They made me and my family feel so comfortable and at ease. They gave me the freedom to select some dresses for trying on but chatted me through each option I pulled. They listened to what I was looking for and asked about my vision for the day and also made suggestions to reflect that. Jo and Kiera made the whole experience great. After visiting a few more shops, I ended up coming back to this one for THE dress and the follow up appointments were just as welcoming and fun.Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

Best Experience!
I cannot rate Jo and the team at Love & Lace highly enough! After a much less positive experience at another bridal shop, Jo certainly made it up for it when it was time to choose my dress! She is amazing at what she does and I actually ended up choosing the dress that she had picked out, something I wouldn’t have thought to try on for myself! She helped me understand and make the perfect alterations so it was exactly what I wanted! We had the best day and the best experience and I will forever be grateful to Jo and Love & Lace for helping me find my perfect dress and making me feel like a proper princess on my big day!!! 🩷Love and Lace Bridal Ltd's reply:

True experts
I went to love and lace for my wedding dress and felt welcomed as soon as I went through the door. I thought I had a clear idea of what dress I wanted but when I tried it on it wasn't quite right. Jo picked up on this and using her expert knowledge suggested a dress to try on which was slightly different to what I thought I wanted and it suited me perfectly, was beautiful and didn't break the bank! All the dresses are lovely but the experience at love and lace is heightened by the expert opinion of it's stylists, knowing what suits and what doesn't and knowing when a dress is right and brings the bride confidence.
