Spent over 2.5k and ended up disappointed unfortunately. Whilst the initial appointment went okay and I was made to feel comfortable, the rest wasn't the experience I would expect from a high end Bridal shop. There are a few reasons I rate my experience 1 star. Lack of options being shown when customising being one of them. Just got told blush pink wouldn't suit me so go for ivory. Which I did based on their advice. No fabric samples. Second reason is the lack of empathy when, 2 weeks after I picked up my dress, I called saying I'm not entirely sure and I would like to discuss options. I was told If I had it steamed professionally, (in order to see how the dress would actually look like. Its organza) she'd refuse helping me in any way if I did it. The only option given was to swap my brand new dress worth 2.3k for one of the used samples in the shop. Whilst I appreciate the shop is clean, it is still a used dress in a size too small for me. And 3rd, the blatant gaslighting when I questioned why the dress wasn't steamed for my 1st try on appointment. I was asked to make a decision about whether I would like to keep it or swap it for a sample on the day. Now... how can one make such a decision when the dress is all crinkled and looked as if it just got taken out of a shipping bag? For a 2.3k dress, the experience offered was truly disappointing. I am now stuck with a crinkled dress, that I don't love. Surely being in the field for over 20 years would teach someone customer service skills and compassion for clients who are going through a lot of stress most likely. The reason I got declined a refund or a swap for a NEW dress was "the money was already allocated to other spending". Also, to add, the sleeves were messed up and looked like they were off Shein. They got remade, however there was no effort at all from the shop. I HAD TO use her seamstress in London, she didnt even bother sending them over to the seamstress depsite having weeks to do that. The shop new very well we were driving up from Devon. So we had to drive an extra hour to the bridal salon, and then an hour back to the seamstress. Not once did she try to go the extra mile. Which you'd expect from a high end shop. Terribly disappointing.I would not recommend. Genuinely feels as if I got scammed.

Choosing my wedding dress was a wonderful experience. Patricia was patient, kind and gave me helpful advice about the style of dress that might suit me. I was also able to select multiple dresses to try on and see how they felt. I got married in my dream dress, and felt so beautiful.

Patricia & heavenly bodies bridal for me is the absolute place to go for a plus size bride 🫶🏼

From start to finish I had zero issues. Booking my appointment was easy, her communication is great & nothing was too much to ask, and flexibility was great where I needed it as I travelled 2.5 hours to get there.

When I first went Patricia immediately explained how she works with shapes of dresses before styles. I found this really helpful. Then I got to pick as many dresses as I wanted for styles and always was allowed one as my top dress. This made comparing really easy. Nearly all of the dresses she stocks are adjustable to neckline sleeves and completely customisable which is amazing!

When I needed to collect Patricia stayed late while I finished work in London and travelled across to collect, nothing was an issue.

I felt incredible on the day and so many people still comment when they see the photos how different my dress was. I can’t recommend Heavenly Bodies Bridal or Patricia herself highly enough. A MUST for any plus size bride who is anxious about trying on dresses & wanting to feel comfortable and relaxed.

The dress was made for me! Honestly from start to finish the best experience. The only shop I visited and tried on and said yes to the dress . Her name is Patricia and I’ll be forever grateful to Oatricia for being so so professional, she was part of the process as she is honest with what she thought would go well will me and I trusted her all the way. I’m still in love with the dress and I often think about just putting it on! Ticked so many boxes, cossert hidden with zip, the arms the pearls! Love love love ..

I went to Patricia after hearing about Studio Levana dresses and realising that they were the designer I wanted to wear. I still had no idea what dresses suited me being a plus size bride and Patricia's unique appointment style and guidance helped me realise what style dress was the one for me. Heavenly Bodies Bridal has been the best shop by far where I have tried on wedding dresses. I wasn't looking forward to dress shopping due to being a 'curvy' bride. All the shops I have been to have pinned dresses onto me and advised me to buy one particular shape. Patricia at HBB let's you try on all styles and shapes....finally I feel excited!

I went to Heavenly Bodies after a couple of disappointing visits to bridal shops where I was made to feel that someone of my size (22) shouldn't be looking for a wedding dress. Patricia, the owner, talked me through the different styles, and showed me how to find a style that suited me and that I felt great in. She went out of her way to help and I'd recommend the shop to any plus-size bride. Haven't got to the big day yet, but at least I know I'll look great :-)
