We offer our brides the chance to work with hairstyling and makeup artists of the highest professional quality for their wedding day.
We travel throughout Scotland and the islands; travelling as a team reduces travel costs...
Your bridal trial is included in the same appointment, allowing you to see your complete bridal look and feel confident on your wedding day.
On your wedding day, we will not leave you until you are looking and feeling incredibly beautiful from the inside and out.
Our passion is not only for our brides requirements; we pride ourselves on customer care and service, leaving you in very trusted hands.

What is included in the wedding package?
Bridal wedding hairstyling and make up for the bride and her bridal party.
Family and guests can also be attended to as we can provide additional artists for them separately
How far in advance should I contact you?
The Bride to be... normally are approached and booked about one year at least in advance.
We are often approached if a bride has been let down by their original supplier.

Do you work at homes?

What is the charge for travelling?
We charge a standard fee of 50p per mile...

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
No party too big we can supply additional make-up artist and hairstylists
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
We accept PayPal.

Couldn't have wished for better
After the stylist/makeup artist I originally booked had to cancel, she recommended The Bride To Be - and what a happy accident that turned out to be.
Not only was Maureen professional and responsive throughout the planning process, she totally 'got' the look I was going for, and offered some amazing suggestions to help it come together as I'd imaged. Even though I couldn't make it for a trial (I live down in England) I knew I'd be in safe hands.
On the day, she and MUA Jennifer were a dream, putting me and my bridal party at ease while getting through everyone perfectly on schedule. Despite beautifying seven people in the space of a single morning - all in my mum's living room, no less - they made everything seem so effortless, with their chatty and friendly vibe really helping calm the pre-wedding nerves.
As for their work, all I can say is wow - I felt like the absolute best, most glammed-up version of myself, no cakey foundation or crispy curls. My bridesmaids looked incredible too, and my mum - who was anxious about having her hair and makeup done for the first time - was so impressed she's now saying she wants to book them again for every night out haha.
Nothing was too much trouble for Maureen or Jen, between putting necklaces on, helping me make a last-minute choice of veil, and showing us all how to touch up our look throughout the day. Truly, I can't thank them enough, and would recommend The Bride To Be in a heartbeat.

Brilliant!
The girls who did our hair and makeup for my wedding day were amazing. We had 7 of us getting hair and makeup done and the girls (Carol and Laura) did a great job of keeping us relaxed as they were so friendly and helpful.
Everyone looked stunning, the make up stayed on perfectly all day and my hair still looked great at 1am! I was so pleased with how I looked on my special day, and I know all my bridesmaids and my mum and my husbands mum were delighted as well. Couldn’t recommend the bride to be more highly enough! Thank you all so much. 😊
