Amazing from start to finish!!
Cannot recommend highly enough. Not only is Lara amazing at creating the most amazing hair, she is also so lovely and makes you feel at ease. I am so pleased she was part of my wedding. All my bridesmaids loved what she did. Lara was amazing from the initial communication, so responsive and informative, and was incredibly lovely on the morning of my wedding. Honestly couldn't have wished for better!
Lara was consistently professional, kind, knowledgeable and an absolute delight to work with. She made the morning of my wedding so special, was imminently flexible and professional and I honestly could not recommend her enough. My hair stayed in (despite some very questionable dancing!) and I absolutely loved it. Her online portal is super easy to use and means that you can log in and check on trial dates without any issue. She is also very responsive, with any queries or questions dealt with super quickly. What I really liked was that she provided the perfect balance of advice whilst also allowing me to work out what I wanted myself. She's an absolute star!Lara Stokes's reply:

Wonderful team!
After a few unfortunate circumstances which resulted in my hair stylist for my wedding day being changed twice, I can’t fault Lara. From first enquiring, to even after my wedding she has been professional and super responsive! Also sending out helpful tips on the lead up to the wedding and the client portal made the whole process super easy!
I had my trial with the lovely Jodie, who understood exactly what I wanted and made my vision come to life (actually even better than what I could have imagined!)
Jodie styled my hair on my wedding day, alongside my four bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom she was amazing. Jodie was so lovely and made us all feel comfortable in the morning, it was just like having another friend getting ready with you. We all absolutely loved our hair and received lots of compliments!

From first enquiring with Lara, to the lovely morning we spent together for my trial, all the way up to the wedding day, she has been an absolute dream! So professional and responsive and just so incredibly lovely.
I felt like she understood me and my vision for my hair straight away, I barely needed to change anything after the trial. Lara also worked really closely with my makeup artist Phoebe, they are an amazing team!
On the morning of my wedding Lara really helped to keep me calm! I absolutely loved my hair and I felt like me, but just the best version of me. My bridesmaids also absolutely loved their hair and felt really listened to by Lara.

I always knew I didn’t want the traditional bridal hair look for my wedding day, but something more relaxed, more boho, more fun. When I found Lara I absolutely knew she was the perfect person to create my dream vision for my hair…. And boy did she do just that! For me and my bridal part - my sister’s relaxed hollywood waves were incredible!
I really couldn’t have asked for anything better. Not just in terms of how my hair looked but with regards to the way Lara was with me and my bridal party - kind, funny, full of advice and so many helpful wedding tips!
She fills you with so much warmth and love and truly is such a wonderful human… she really felt part of our bride tribe!
I feel blessed that Lara and my make up artist Phoebe (May Williams) were my glam squad for the day, what wonder women they are 🙌❤️😘

Friendly and very responsive however it was only after paying the deposit to secure my booking that I was given a contract and told I needed to pay >£60 mileage fee for my stylist despite living in Cheltenham. I was not told about this fee before booking. My deposit was refunded with no hassle but I am very disappointed. This location is advertised incorrectly and mileage costs should have been disclosed during the initial discussions.Lara Stokes's reply:
Hi Jodie
I’m very sorry if you felt anything was not understood at certain times throughout the booking. The contract does go out to you at the time you complete the proposal and before you pay the deposit. I saw you paid the deposit and then went straight back to you to ask you to read the contract which includes a section on mileage and return it to me, if you’re happy with it. It also states the minimum booking cost, which you brought up after reading the contract and I said I’m happy to be relaxed on this part. I do make sure the contract goes out before an invoice. I’m just so sorry that it was missed through the booking. -

Lara is the kindest and most talented hair stylist ever, she made the whole process such a dream and made me feel validated and safe. From the start communication was excellent and the trial experience was so exciting! The morning of the wedding she makes you feel so calm yet so excited and really does the most beautiful hair styling. I would never have thought my hair would look so good in a Hollywood wave but I’m so in love with it and got so many compliments that now I want it all the time!
