I booked Lara for my wedding in May & I am so happy I did. Lara was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish and I am so incredibly grateful to her for making my wedding hair inspo a reality! From the minute we met at the trial she put me entirely at ease, helping me with my ideas, giving me different options of the style I wanted and helped with how to encorporate my veil. Her communication throughout went above & beyond with so many helpful haircare and general wedding morning/wellbeing tips.
Nothing was too much trouble and any question was answered so promptly - Lara you are just so lovely in every way!
Fast forward to the big day and I had Lara & Alice from her team to do my hair, my mum's and my bridesmaids. Due to some last minute hiccups with our accomodation we had quite a small space to work with which Lara & Alice worked around seamlessly and put myself and all my girls at ease throughout the morning.
My finished hair look was EVERYTHING I could have wanted and more. I absolutely loved it. All of my bridesmaids adored their beautiful up-do's and Lara did such a gorgeous blow dry for my Mum also. Lara even joined me upstairs to help with getting into my dress (thank you for being so wonderful just as the nerves kicked in) and helped me get my veil on. Every single style she and Alice created stayed all day, all of the bridesmaids hair was still perfect right up to the last dance of the night. I couldn't have loved my hair more Lara and thank you for everything.
Lara goes above and beyond and is a calming influence in the happy chaos of a wedding morning, whilst creating the most beautiful looks. Lara - you truly are amazing!

I had my bridal hair done by Nadezhda. Her work was absolutely perfect. She arrived on time to ensure a relaxed wedding morning. She listened to exactly what I wanted to create a look based on my inspirations. I was so happy with it - hair of my dreams! I also had 2 bridesmaids that needed hair and make up doing and she made us all feel so calm, comfortable and relaxed. I was so grateful to have found Lara Stokes H&MU and it was an absolute pleasure to have Nadezhda as part of the wedding morning. Thank you so much- I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting an extra special day.

A dreamy morning!
I booked hair & make up through Lara Stokes for my wedding morning for myself, my 3 bridesmaids and my Mum.
We were so lucky to get Lara for hair, and Kathryn for make up who were the perfect additions for my bridal morning with my wider bridal party! Both Lara and Kathryn slotted in so well to the morning, they just felt like an extension of our Bridal group and brought nothing but calmness, great chats and of course excellent hair & make up skills!
Not only did we all feel amazing with our final results, but more importantly we felt the perfect balance of relaxed, but excited. It’s really important that whoever comes into your “bubble” that morning slots in, and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Great company, and both super talented.

Absolutely amazing!!
Lara was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I booked her at very short notice, and she could not have been more helpful. Both mine and my bridesmaids hair was beautiful, and lasted all day without moving at all! She was such a calming presence in the morning and helped us in ways far beyond hair styling. Lara is truly such a joy to work with and did the most fabulous job on my wedding day! From booking to trial to the big day, Lara was so helpful through the process - incredibly kind, calm, responsive and willing to answer all my questions. She truly made me, my mum and my bridesmaids feel a million dollars and we had such a fun morning getting ready. So happy!!
I can't thank Lara enough for how happy I was with my wedding hair, she was able to style it exactly how I had envisaged and it lasted all day for >12hours. My bridesmaids hair styles were also absolutely gorgeous and lasted amazingly. She made the getting ready vibe so relaxed and easy in the morning. I would totally recommend Lara as a hair stylist. I cannot recommend Lara highly enough. She did my wedding hair as well as my bridesmaids’ hair, and everything was absolutely perfect.
I loved how my hair turned out and received non-stop compliments throughout the wedding. Even now, people still mention how stunning it was. It was exactly what I had hoped for and stayed in place from the morning right through to the end of the night.
My bridesmaids all looked amazing too and were so happy with their hair!
As well as being incredibly talented, Lara was so lovely to have around on the wedding morning. She brought such a positive energy and helped make the whole getting-ready experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

I cannot recommend Lara highly enough. I first discovered her through a friend's wedding and after seeing her work on Instagram, I knew she was exactly the stylist I wanted for my wedding day.
From the very beginning, Lara was friendly, professional, and incredibly reassuring. During my trial, she completely understood the look I was hoping to achieve, and made me feel truly bridal, giving me total confidence in my hairstyle ahead of the big day.
On the wedding morning, Lara was organised, calm, and such a lovely presence to have around. Along with her assistant, she styled myself, my bridesmaids, my mum, and my flower girl, and every hairstyle looked beautiful. Some of my bridesmaids were nervous about having their naturally curly hair styled due to previous experiences, but Lara did an amazing job and they were absolutely thrilled with the results.
Despite an incredibly hot wedding day, all of our hairstyles held up perfectly from morning until night. I was especially impressed that she somehow managed to create the sweetest hairstyle for my very active two-year-old flower girl while she watched Peppa Pig and ate a croissant!
Lara is exceptionally talented, and she made us all feel so beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any bride.Lara Stokes's reply:

I was assigned the fabulous Laura James (Hair) and Kathryn Braunton (Makeup) for my day. After narrowing down the options at my trial, I chose a wavy half up-do and soft, natural makeup. On the day, everything was relaxed, easy and fun. Laura and Kathryn were lovely and calm and put everyone at ease. It set the tone for an amazing and fun-filled day. My mum and bridesmaids loved their looks too, and got lots of tips from the team. I felt like the best version of myself - couldn't have asked for more!Lara Stokes's reply:
