makeupbyalexandra.x is a wedding beauty service based out of Derbyshire, England. Owner Alex is a qualified make-up artist working at a salon in Mickleover but can travel to clients too. She's happy to work on-site at your home or venue, if it's where you feel most comfortable.

Before beginning makeupbyalexandra.x, Alex spent years working with Charlotte Tilbury and still prefers to use their products in her looks. She'll work closely with you to design your perfect makeup look, so you can look your best and still feel like yourself. Alex is happy to work with large groups and can be accompanied by an assistant if necessary. The wedding package from this company includes in-depth skin preparation for the to-be-wed to help the makeup last as long as possible. False eyelashes are available to complete the look.

What is included in the wedding package?
The wedding package includes a full skin prep for the bride and mini skin prep for anyone else in the bridal party. Includes lashes for everyone. Top up kit for bride. I use all charlotte tilbury
How far in advance should I contact you?
I get people contacting me years in advance however I’d say there isn’t any perfect time. I base it off first come first served. So I’d try and contact for makeup as soon as you know the date
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
Yes I do charge for travel which you’ll see more info about it once I’ve emailed everything over to you
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
It all depends on the time you’re getting married. I mostly do groups of 3-6. However I can do larger group bookings too even groups of up to 12 before. Id just need an assistant to help me that date
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
Forms of payment is: 50% bank transfer for the deposit that’s paid to secure the date. Then you can either pay cash or bank transfer for the rest of the amount

The red carpet treatment
Alex did my makeup for my son’s wedding following a trial. During the trial Alex’s choices were spot on and I really liked the look The wedding day started with a nerve racking morning but Alex completely put me at ease. I felt like a movie star instead of a 50 year old mum and I had so many comments about my makeup. Thank you Alex I felt so glamorous. I wish I could make myself look like that maybe I need to book a makeup lesson next?

bridesmaid makeup
I have lupus so need good make up to cover the red rash on my skin (cheeks and nose etc). Alex did an amazing job and it stayed on all day. She asked exactly what i wanted which was natural and dewy. Everyone said I looked amazing. I wish I could do my make up like it everyday! She also did false eyelashes which I've only ever had once before and they stayed on too and look great on the photos. thank you.

Amazing, amazing, amazing
Alex is such a lovely girl. Very professional and extremely attentive. I used her for make up for my sisters wedding and I was absolutely blown away!! She is incredible, couldn’t recommend more
