Jess is a lovely she is really friendly and professional. When I contacted I knew exactly what I was paying there were no hidden charges and she kept in touch thorough out the process . When I went for my make up trial Jess made me feel so welcome, she listened to what I wanted made suggestions but never tried to push anything I didn't want. On my wedding day Jess arrived on time and with all the chaos of the day she made me feel at ease chatting as though we knew each other for years. I cant recommend Jess enough xxx

I was keen to find someone who could take care of hair and makeup for both myself and three bridesmaids and Jessica was perfect. We had a trial first that was super easy to organise and then on the actual day, Jessica and her assistant couldn’t have done any more for us. I was actually recommended her services by another hair and makeup lady who was unavailable on my wedding day and I am so grateful that I was! For my trial, I only had to show Jess a couple of photos and she knew exactly what I was looking for. The results were fantastic so I was already at ease for the big day. Jess truly made my wedding day. She was calm, relaxed, easy going and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, and she did a phenomenal job of making last min changes to what we’d trialled too. I genuinely could not have had a better support system with me, and she even went as far as to help me pee!

Both at trial and on the big day, she listened to what i wanted, and delivered.

I honestly felt so safe with Jess, and it was like having a friend helping me get ready. With 7 bridesmaids, it was no mean feat, but everyone looked amazing and loved her extra helpers too.

Jess is an absolute fantastic makeup artist! She really listened to the style of makeup I wanted and did a spectacular job. I was a bit nervous trusting someone with my makeup on my wedding day as i wanted a natural look but I was so happy with the result.

I met Jess at an open day at our venue Crockwell Farm where she has done a lot of previous work and knew straight away that should would be the perfect person to make me look my most beautiful on my wedding day. It felt like we had already known each other for ages and we were both on the same page in terms of what I felt like I wanted. I booked in for a trial and went to her home studio a few weeks before the wedding. We had such fun trying out lots of ideas. Nothing was too much to ask. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted but we experimented for a few hours with both my hair and makeup until we had the perfect look. My main want was to still feel like myself but at my best, and she captured that beautifully. By the time the wedding came along she felt like another friend joining the gang. I was nervous, as most brides probably are on the morning of their wedding, but she calmed me down and got me excited! She stayed with me until I walked down the aisle which was perfect because a lot of tears were shed when my dad saw me for the first time so Jess came to the rescue!
Honestly I cannot say how wonderful she was and how lucky I feel that she was a part of my day.

I found Jess through hitched and could not recommend her, for both hair and make-up, more!
I was unsure of what I wanted at my trial and Jess was very patient, trying out different styles or looks and really listening to what I was saying or asking. I even changed part of the hairstyle on the day, but Jess took it in her stride and nothing was a problem.

I had the best day and I owe a lot of this to how confident I felt because I loved what Jess had done with my hair and make-up. I don’t normally like being centre of attention but I didn’t feel self conscious once all day, and this is why you will not be sorry that you chose Jess for your special day!

Jess was amazing from first meeting up for a hair and make up trial, trying out lots of options, and making my mum feel special too! I'm so happy I chose Makeup My Wedding Day - I felt amazing and my hair and make up lasted all day. Just a few days before the wedding, Jess pulled out all the stops, and fitted in extra hair and make up for family and friends (including a couple of divas who Jess handled with grace and ease!) into the schedule. Everyone loved the experience and went for a range or styles that were all different and really pretty. I couldn't have asked for someone more lovely and talented to make my day really special - a huge thank you!

Jess did my hair and make up for myself and my 2 bridesmaids for my wedding in January. Jess did such an amazing job, I was over the moon and have never felt more beautiful. Jess is such a lovely person and so easy to talk to-I really enjoyed chatting to her during my trials and she fitted in perfectly on the wedding morning. We had such a lovely, chilled morning and was great to have Jess there up until those last few moments making me feel calm and helping with the little details.
