I was looking for someone who could take care of both hair and makeup for my mum and mother-in-law on my wedding day. Thankfully, I came across Jennifer, who offered both services. I reached out to her and was delighted to find that she had availability for my special day.

We decided to have a trial session with Jennifer, during which my mum and mother-in-law explained how they envisioned their makeup and hairstyles. Jennifer listened to their preferences, and the results were nothing short of extraordinary. Both of them looked absolutely flawless, and made them even more excited for the wedding day.

When the big day arrived, Jennifer truly went above and beyond. The transformation was amazing, and it even brought us to tears (though we were careful not to ruin the makeup!). Jennifer's exceptional skills and dedication were evident throughout the entire process, from the initial communication to the final touches.

Jen was fantastic!! She stepped in when I had to change hairdresser a few months before my wedding and I'm so glad she ended up doing hair for myself and my bridesmaids. The trial was lovely and she made me feel comfortable, she was happy to try different hair pieces and give me feedback on inspiration I'd seen on Pinterest!

On the day, she was calm and collected and didn't mind us switching up the order of play so I could eat my breakfast before my make up was done!

She's very talented and even gave me great tips on hair care which I'm still using!

Jen was a dream come true on my wedding day. From the moment we met on the trial, I felt at ease. Jen listened to what I wanted and pulled it off phenomenally. For someone who doesn’t really wear make up, she made me feel like a real princess. Along with her team, Jen was able to complete hair and make up for myself, my mum and 6 bridesmaids, even with time for touch ups at the end. Jen was calm and professional and really made the morning the best experience. I would recommend Jen wholeheartedly. I have never felt as confident as I did on my wedding day, and that was down to Jen.

Jen did hair &/or make-up for 3 of the bridal party at our small wedding in Stratford-Upon-Avon including a trial in Leighton Buzzard prior. Jen was lovely to liaise with and super friendly, flexible and calm (much needed!). She was open to make things how we wanted and advised when we asked. On the day she was an absolute superstar. Jen did my hair and make up for me on my wedding day and also my mums. I didn’t have any fancy arrangements for the morning, I was at home just me, my mum and Jen and I still felt like a movie star getting ready for the Oscars! I originally hired Jennifer Lucy Makeup & Beauty however cancelled after my trial. I found that Jennifer is poor in her response time in getting back to you and in terms of hair & make-up trial, I really was disheartened by the end result. I felt the trial was rushed. My make-up and hair did not last. I expressed my concerns but was only offered another trial for a slightly reduced price than the first trial. This is a huge cost and loss of deposit on top is a bit of a blow as well. I cancelled as I do not feel Jennifer is bothered about it being someones special day but how much is earned.

Jennifer was very responsive from the start. Was very clear about prices and even broke down the invoice so it was all clear. From the first meeting to the big day Jennifer was amazing and very accommodating when I needed to change the date. Jennifer was professional at all times and a friendly welcoming person. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I'm so glad I chose Jen to for my wedding make up. She has such a calming presence, which really put me and my bridal party at ease during the wedding morning. The whole process with Jen was smooth from start to finish and we landed on the perfect wedding look during my trial. On the day she did make up for me, 3 bridesmaids and my mum. Everyone was soooo happy with their make up and felt beautiful. And all our make up was still intact by the 1am finish after lots of sweaty dancing! Highly recommend.
