Aside from her work in TV, Charlie led a successful career in theatre. Working as a senior artist at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Wedding hair and make up
I cannot recommend Charlie highly enough for wedding hair and makeup. From the moment we started, she was calm, professional, and incredibly kind, exactly the energy I needed on such an important day. She truly listened to what I wanted and made me feel like the best version of myself, while still looking and feeling me.
My hair and makeup were flawless and held up beautifully all day and night, through happy tears, hugs, and hours of celebrating. I felt confident, comfortable, and so beautiful, which is something every bride deserves to feel on her wedding day.

Charlie was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous about the whole make up and hair thing but Charlie made me feel totally at ease. She listened so carefully and worked with me to create a look that made me feel just so beautiful but also completely myself. She was so kind and patient with me and was just the presence that I needed the morning of my wedding especially after only sleeping for less than an hour and feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous! Charlie stayed right up until the moment I left for the venue and helped with extra details such as my necklace. No detail was too small. Thanks so much Charlie! I'm so grateful!

Wedding hair and make up artist
I simply cannot thank Charlie enough for making me feel and look so beautiful on my wedding day. Charlie’s calm and caring approach meant I felt relaxed and comfortable in her hands from the start. She listened to exactly what I wanted and created an elegant and understated look that still felt like ‘me’. Not only did she create a stunning hair style and flawless make up, but she was also happy to help me into my wedding dress and help me with last minute finishing touches. A truly professional and incredibly special wedding hair and make up artist whom I cannot recommend highly enough.

I would highly recommend, Charlie’s eye for detail is amazing.…… she matched my make up perfectly and I felt amazing on my wedding day.…. My hair well all I can say is wow she captured how I wanted it perfectly a big thank you Charlie ❤️

Miracle worker 💁🏼♀️
Charlie was incredible hair and make up artist that I had the privilege of meeting whilst being a supporting artist for a TV series. She was so professional and excellent at giving advice of different styles to suit my hair. She made me feel so comfortable talking to her and I walked out feeling so confident with my beautiful vintage classic style upto. There wasn’t a hair out of place as she is a perfectionist. I would highly recommend Charlie to any bride or bridal party as she has a wealth of experience of many different styles and can work under pressure to make sure she gets all styles completed to a high standard under a tight time frame.

Fantastic experience with Charlie!
Fantastic hair and make-up trial, I couldn't have wished for anyone more lovely or skilled. Charlie exudes a calm and professional confidence that immediately puts you at ease, she is flexible and great at communicating. Really happy that Charlie will be helping me to get ready on the day 🤩

Professional and relaxing experience
From the hair trial through to the wedding day Charlie went above and beyond to give me the perfect wedding hair & make-up. She listened to what I wanted and gave great advice when I was unsure about things. She made me feel relaxed throughout and was fun to work with - I would highly recommend her.
The end result far excelled anything I could have dreamed of and Charlie was flexible with my limited availability schedule. I will be forever grateful to her for giving me the best start to my wedding day

Can't recommend Charlie enough, excellent
I was looking for a professional who offered both hair and make up for the big day. I came across Charlie on hitched. I felt confident straight away from first point of contact. Charlie had some fabulous ideas and took on board mine. I was so pleased with the results of the trial I had no doubt about booking Charlie. We spent 3 hours together at the trial which was very relaxed, so excited for our special day and feeling like a beautiful bride. Thank you Charlie

Beautiful wedding hair!
Charlie made me feel at ease as soon as we had our consultation. She really listened to what I had in mind and helped me work out what would suit me and the style of wedding. I wanted a Boho kind of vibe using tape hair extensions to create extra fullness and length. They colour matched perfectly and she styled my hair in to bouncy soft waves, with some strands pinned back to frame my face. I wanted a real flower crown and she worked with the florist to help achieve this.
I loved it so much, I would have that hair every day if I could!
Charlie really helped make my day special and she was so much fun to have around, she definitely helped with my nerves! I would highly recommend her. I have also seen her retro hair-ups in real life and they are stunning.
