Charlie made me feel so comfortable and reassured from the first messages, throughout the whole trial and especially on the day itself. She listened carefully to what I wanted and was very patient with me being such a self-conscious person. I was beyond happy with the natural make-up look and curled and styled locks that worked perfectly with the veil and accessories I already had. On top of all that, Charlie is just the loveliest person. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I needed someone to do both hair and makeup for a red carpet event. I needed someone close to home and only 4 weeks before the event, so time was running out. I contacted several people using hitched and Charlie was the 1st to reply. This wasn't the reason I chose her though! She came across as warm and friendly and was not only available but ticked all my boxes. I was very nervous but she put me at ease straight away and soon we were laughing and joking. She was very flexible with the time/day and made herself available for a 5.45am start on a Sunday. I had a trial before the main day and she listened to what I wanted, advised what might work or not and together we came to an agreement of what to do. She has every product you could possibly imagine and she takes care to ensure that hygiene remains the top priority. Charlie will come to your house/venue, as well as allowing you into her own home depending on what suits you, which takes all the hassle out of it. She did an exceptional job and my hair and makeup lasted all day long and looked just as good 10hrs later as it did when I left her home. I would highley recommend Charlie to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist. I wish I could have her on standby for all my makeup needs. Charlie offers excellent value for money, requiring half of the full cost upfront to secure your booking. If you want to look amazing on your wedding day or for a special event then Charlie is the lady for you!

Charlie was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous about the whole make up and hair thing but Charlie made me feel totally at ease. She listened so carefully and worked with me to create a look that made me feel just so beautiful but also completely myself. She was so kind and patient with me and was just the presence that I needed the morning of my wedding especially after only sleeping for less than an hour and feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous! Charlie was absolutely amazing!! She is super friendly, understood my vision and vibes to a T and made me feel like the most beautiful bride. She also saved the day with my previous make up and hair artist cancelling the week before my wedding but responded super quickly and said she could do my date. She was super communicative as we didn't have time for a trial and when the day came she talked me through everything she was thinking from the photos I sent and got to work! I couldn’t recommend Charlie highly enough, she did hair and makeup for myself and my wife at our recent wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. From the initial consultation where it felt like Charlie really took the time to understand our starting point and what we were looking for, to the trial where nothing was too much trouble and every part of the process was explained, to the actual day of the wedding where she was cool calm and collected with detailed notes of everything we had done at the trial to make sure everything was just as we planned. I couldn’t fault a single part of it. She was warm and friendly and importantly - absolutely amazing at hair and makeup! I was so happy to have found Charlie for my bridal hair and makeup. She is an expert at what she does and I felt like she really took the time to understand my wants and gave very good advice to help me feel my best. I was really nervous about it going to my trial as it wasn’t something I had experienced before, however Charlie is such a warm person and so easy to get on with that the time flew and I knew I was in good hands.

I had my wedding hair trial with Charlie today and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. I am an anxious bride to be, but Charlie was calming and kind which instantly put me at ease. She was professional but friendly and so easy to talk to. She also worked absolute magic on my hair! I wanted to try quite an intricate up-do and the finished design was simply stunning and just how I pictured it. She also gave lots of great advice and helpful tips. I left feeling happy and confident that my bridesmaids and I will be in very safe hands on the day.

Charlie was incredible hair and make up artist that I had the privilege of meeting whilst being a supporting artist for a TV series. She was so professional and excellent at giving advice of different styles to suit my hair. She made me feel so comfortable talking to her and I walked out feeling so confident with my beautiful vintage classic style upto. There wasn’t a hair out of place as she is a perfectionist. I would highly recommend Charlie to any bride or bridal party as she has a wealth of experience of many different styles and can work under pressure to make sure she gets all styles completed to a high standard under a tight time frame.

I was looking for a professional who offered both hair and make up for the big day. I came across Charlie on hitched. I felt confident straight away from first point of contact. Charlie had some fabulous ideas and took on board mine. I was so pleased with the results of the trial I had no doubt about booking Charlie.
