Charlie is a wonderful hair stylist. From our first trial to the wedding day she was so knowledgeable and really helped me to understand what kind of style I wanted and how this could be achieved. I love the way she creates hairstyles that look so natural but equally last all day. My hair stayed perfectly in place despite an open top car ride on the way to the venue! Thanks again Charlie for all your help on our wedding day!

I met Charlie at a wedding fair and knew straight away that she was the one I would choose to do my hair and makeup up on my big day.
I had a couple of trials with her as I couldn’t make up my mind on how to have my hair.
But once we had nailed the choice. It was smooth sailing.
She arrived with all of her kit in the morning of my big day and worked her magic. She made me feel like a princess. My hair was amazing and I had so many comments on how gorgeous looked. My make up stayed put all day and my hair didn’t budge. Even after dancing all night.
She also did my daughters hair which she absolutely loved
I was sad to take my make up off and undo my hair at the end of the day.
I would 100% recommend Charlie. She is so lovely and made me feel at easy in the morning when the nerves started to kick in

Charlie was the best hair and make-up artist I could have wished for on our wedding day. Apart from the hair and make up looking absolutely stunning, she made me feel so relaxed about the whole process and the day ahead. I was slightly nervous beforehand as I don’t wear much make up, so wasn’t sure how I would feel with a ‘full face’, but Charlie put me completely at ease. The trial really helped to figure out what style I wanted to go for. I felt like I looked like the best version of myself possible and that’s in large part down to Charlie. Would highly recommend :) x

Charlie was wonderful from start to finish. She was so easy to talk to, incredibly professional, and a true perfectionist.

I felt absolutely beautiful, and my bridesmaids were equally delighted with their hair and make-up — they all looked fantastic! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any bride.

Charlie did my bridal hair and make up for my wedding on 27th June. I had 6 bridesmaids, so she brought 2 other MUAs, who were both really lovely (I didn't really get a chance to speak to them, but my bridesmaids were very happy!). Charlie was open about needing to book in our trials early, as weekends get booked up ahead of wedding season! Communication was always good. I was late to the first trial due to an address/Satnav mix up but it was no problem at all.
Charlie asked for images of the sort of thing I (and each bridesmaid) wanted, and organised all the time slots on the wedding morning. I changed my mind about my hair after the 1st trial, which again was no problem at all, and we did a 2nd. Charlie encouraged me to get hair extensions in order to achieve the look that I wanted and I'm so glad that I did!
On the morning Charlie and her team were calm and very professional. It all went very quickly and she was absolutely right about the time that would be required! We all looked stunning and my make up stayed in place all day!

I would highly recommend Charlie for hair and make up. I was looking for someone who could do natural looking make up so I would still look like me on my wedding day. Charlie was great from start to finish, my hair and make up trial was fun despite me being someone who doesn’t typically get my hair or make up done, and I left very confident that I’d look how I wanted to on the day.
On the wedding day she was very relaxed and everything ran on time, Charlie even helped get my dress done up while I was panicking the corset wasn’t tight enough! My hair and make up looked amazing and I had someone request Charlie’s details before the wedding had even finished!

I would highly recommend Charlie for wedding hair and makeup. I was looking for natural makeup and someone who could work with my naturally curly hair which Charlie did beautifully. The trial was great as it set me at ease having not really worn makeup before and Charlie took lots of notes and pictures to help with recreating it on the day. Charlie is super experienced and a lovely person making the morning of the wedding day very relaxing. It was so lovely to have beautiful hair and makeup and still feel completely myself. I would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone looking for natural makeup and also anyone with curly hair!

Charlie is the most wonderful hair and make-up artist; she made me feel so comfortable during both my trial session and wedding day. She has an incredible talent and a wealth of experience, but always ensures that she listens to your wishes and creates a look that feels right for you. This was something that was super important to me personally, as I don't normally wear make-up, so I really wanted to have a natural look that made me feel confident and comfortable when getting married. Charlie was brilliant in making this happen - we exchanged a few messages before my trial session about the look I envisioned for myself, which helped to ease my nerves as she clearly took this into consideration and made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the trial. Our wedding was inspired by the Lord of the Rings (so not particularly traditional by any means!), and I'm so lucky to have found Charlie - her experience in the film/TV/theatre industry was so helpful as I knew she would understand the kind of fantasy look I was going for!

Charlie was such a calming presence during the morning of our wedding day, and I am so, so grateful for all her hard work and kindness she showed to me and my friends and family. My hair looked absolutely stunning and stayed in all day - she created beautiful curls and intricate plaits out of my extremely straight hair (which normally never keeps curls properly, so I was seriously impressed!). Charlie beautifully arranged dried flowers into my hair and this really completed the look. I was also extremely happy with my make-up too - it was just what I wanted but at the same time it totally surpassed my expectations.

I received so many compliments on my hair and make-up and was so pleased that both stayed in place all day - despite lots of dancing and a few (very happy!) tears! Thank you, Charlie, for helping make me feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed on the best day of my life. :)

Charlie made me feel so comfortable and reassured from the first messages, throughout the whole trial and especially on the day itself. She listened carefully to what I wanted and was very patient with me being such a self-conscious person. I was beyond happy with the natural make-up look and curled and styled locks that worked perfectly with the veil and accessories I already had. On top of all that, Charlie is just the loveliest person. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I needed someone to do both hair and makeup for a red carpet event. I needed someone close to home and only 4 weeks before the event, so time was running out. I contacted several people using hitched and Charlie was the 1st to reply. This wasn't the reason I chose her though! She came across as warm and friendly and was not only available but ticked all my boxes. I was very nervous but she put me at ease straight away and soon we were laughing and joking. She was very flexible with the time/day and made herself available for a 5.45am start on a Sunday. I had a trial before the main day and she listened to what I wanted, advised what might work or not and together we came to an agreement of what to do. She has every product you could possibly imagine and she takes care to ensure that hygiene remains the top priority. Charlie will come to your house/venue, as well as allowing you into her own home depending on what suits you, which takes all the hassle out of it. She did an exceptional job and my hair and makeup lasted all day long and looked just as good 10hrs later as it did when I left her home. I would highley recommend Charlie to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist. I wish I could have her on standby for all my makeup needs. Charlie offers excellent value for money, requiring half of the full cost upfront to secure your booking. If you want to look amazing on your wedding day or for a special event then Charlie is the lady for you!

She listened so carefully and worked with me to create a look that made me feel just so beautiful but also completely myself.
