Laura was absolutely perfect on the day. She did my make up and my maid of honor and she hit the brief perfectly.

I hired Laura a week before my wedding as my previous make up artist became unavailable and she was literally my superhero.

She was so friendly and accommodating and talked me through all the different products to get the look I was after. She also checked with me throughout to make sure I was happy with the results.

She made me and my MoH feel so at ease even though we met on my wedding day and we hadn't had a make up trial due to time constraints.

Lau did a fantastic job with my wedding makeup, which had to contend with an extremely windy day in April! We met a couple of months ahead of time to test products and the look, and she listened to me really carefully to ensure that I was happy with the resulting aesthetic. I had a really particular look in mind for how I wanted my hair to be done - braids with golden thread woven in - and she gave me tips on what she'd need me to bring on the morning of the wedding. When the day came, she arrived bright and early, did a beautiful job of my maid-of-honour's hair and makeup, and then put everything we'd tested into practice, including the gold threads! I was so happy with how it all turned out, and it lasted the full day, through wind, happy-crying and dancing; the only thing that needed a touch-up was the lipstick, understandably, and I was able to buy my own through Lau so I had it to hand. Through it all, Lau was a friendly and calming presence. Would recommend to anyone needing makeup done in the Basingstoke area!

Laura was incredible, from the trial to the main day her work was flawless. The makeup survived 30 degrees and a freak storm! She was so bubbly and attentive to detail which is exactly what you need on your big day!

Laura is truly the best! She went above and beyond to make me and my mom feel beautiful for my special day. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process, from my initial email to Whatsapp texts to the morning of getting ready! I cannot recommend Laura highly enough - she's a skilled make-up artist, super responsive, able to work with every kind of ask, and great fun to have in the room as you're getting ready.
From first making contact, Laura was so fast to respond, and was also able to offer me help finding a wonderful hair stylist too. She helped me set up trials for both hair and make-up at times that suited my schedule, and took the time to both listen and advise on what would look good for the day. Her studio just outside of Basingstoke is well located and a beautiful setting to visit. She was in touch at all the right times in the lead up to make arrangements, and was flexible as I added a couple of extra people to the roster last minute.
Laura and Tara (hairstylist) were in the room and set up with every tool of the trade (and some excellent lighting) in plenty of time, and made sure we got through all of the ladies with time to spare. They had just the right balance of keeping it relaxed, but ensuring we didn't wait around too long. For each lady (2 x mothers, 2 x sisters) they attentively listened to what each wanted, offered great advice, and then did a wonderful job making each of us look our best.
As the bride, I didn't want to cry and ruin my make-up, but of course I did - and I have to say you couldn't tell at all despite a steady stream of tears down my face during the ceremony. The make-up lasted all day, and was immaculate when I removed it nearly 12 hours later!
All of this, and Laura's prices were very reasonable, and much less than others I had quoted. The service was incredibly personal and easy. I would recommend her in a second if you're looking for help looking amazing for your big day!

I booked to have my hair done with Laura on my wedding day and I can't praise her enough. From start to finish she was professional, friendly and so flexible. At the last minute I was unsure about the front of my hair and Laura was so patient and tweaked it with me until it was perfect. I don't normally like having my hair done professionally but I loved my hairstyle and it made me feel so confident on the day. I would also highly recommend having a trial so you know what to expect on the day.

I could not have been happier with my bridal hair and make up with Laura! From the initial emails, sending through inspiration pictures to my trial, it was all great. Laura is so friendly and approachable, I knew I was in safe hands. At the trial we discussed different styles/colours and had the opportunity to tweak things before the day. I was absolutely thrilled with the make up Laura did for my wedding. She listened carefully at my trial as to the kind of makeup style I was looking for and then produced a look for me that lasted all day at my wedding. She was friendly and professional and very easy to deal with.

Lau was all that I had hoped for my hair and makeup artist to be for my wedding day. The trial was 2 months before and nothing was too much trouble. I could take my time in choosing my look and ask for whatever I wanted. She also gave me great advice based on my skin tone and the look I was going for. On the day Lau made sure I felt super special and the final look was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t wish for a better service and I 100% recommend for your wedding day.

Thank you Lau for providing hair and make up for myself and my bridesmaids! From meeting you for my trial to my wedding nothing was too much trouble. I felt at ease straight away and the conversation flowed. All my bridesmaids were also so pleased with their looks. Lau had loads of tips for me about the wedding venue as she had been a few times which was so helpful! I had a few skin worries after my trial and was given loads of tips on what to do leading up to the day which really helped!
