I absolutely loved my wedding hair and makeup. I wanted to still look and feel like myself, just the best version of me, and that is exactly what I got.

My makeup was beautiful and natural but still made such a difference, and it photographed amazingly. My hair was exactly what I had hoped for – soft, romantic and relaxed, with the little curls framing my face perfectly. Everything worked so beautifully with my dress and the overall feel of the day.

I felt so comfortable and confident, which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding morning. Looking back at the photos, I’m still so happy with how it all came together. Thank you so much for making me feel so lovely on such an important day.

I can’t recommend Lau and her team enough! Lau was brilliant for the trial and listened to all of my ideas. She created the exact vision that I had and replicated it on the day. I had changed my mind with how I wanted the front of my hair and Lau was so accommodating and changed it to exactly how I wanted it. I found Lau on Hitched and contacted her after reading all of her positive reviews and seeing her portfolio. I am so happy I did! Lau is absolutely wonderful as a makeup/hair artist and as a person. We had my makeup and hair trial back in May and that went very well. Her studio is very quiet and calm with nice light so I could see her results. I actually gasped a bit when I saw the hair style she did and I loved the makeup too.

On the wedding day, Lau took my feedback after the trial exactly as I had asked and her results were amazing. My wedding was during the heatwave at a venue with no AC and despite being very hot all day, my makeup stayed all day long. My friends kept complimenting this as well.

Lau was a great person to work with. She has a calming personality during what can be a stressful getting ready morning. Her results are very professional and so is her team. I definitely recommend working with Lau for your wedding!

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup Lau and Rachel did on my wedding day, they made me feel so beautiful. Lau and Rachel were very attentive and made sure I was happy with everything as we went along. Lau was fantastic from start to finish. We had a hair and make up trial to make sure I was happy with how I was going to look on my big day. She responded to all my queries within 24 hours, a month or so before the wedding I wanted to change who I wanted to hair and make up and Lau changed this with no problems.
She was amazing on the day, very calm and professional and just a really lovely lady ☺️

As a non girly girl, I was a little apprehensive about hair and makeup as it is all so far out of my comfort zone. Laura is so personable and really put me at ease on the trial day, finding common ground in music and chatting about other weddings. Laura was helpful in suggesting suitable tones for makeup and giving me the confidence to wear false lashes (well half size ones!). For the hair styles, my vague descriptions became reality and Laura was able to prepare a style that would work both with and without my veil.
On the day itself I knew exactly what to expect thanks to the trial session, so we could just have a laugh and not worry about little details. We all felt really comfortable and happy with our looks. My bridesmaid who got married last year even said she preffered the styling over her wedding hair!

Laura was quick to respond to any questions and flexible with changes we wanted to make after the trial. She was such a calm and friendly presence both during the trial and getting ready before my wedding, which helped make those moment really special. I don't usually wear much make up and really appreciated Laura's reassurance and willingness to let me try a few different options, until we found something that felt like me. I loved my hair and make up and both held out throughout the whole day!

Lau was professional, friendly a good laugh and very good at her job. She listened to my requests and fulfilled them better than I imagined. She also stayed to help my bridesmaids put the veil in which was beyond what was expected!

I was lucky enough to book Lau to do my bridal hair although I left it quite late! She arranged to find a date to squeeze in a trial although the wedding wasn't too far away and did a beautiful job. I wasn't too sure what I wanted and gave a few guidelines and let her do her magic. Results were beautiful and people were very complimentary of my hair on the day! Friendly, prompt and attentive to your needs. I recommend!
