John at Maple Media was recommended to us by our wedding co-ordinator who had worked with him lots before.
From our first messages John communicated quickly with us, answered all our questions, explained our different options and guided us to what would suit our requirements best.
We felt the price was very good for the package (we went for the Gold package).
His great communication continued on the run up to the wedding and he checked in with us before to get some more details.
On the day he was amazing, worked so well with our photographer (who he had never worked with before). He put us at ease and knew our venue well so had great spots to recommend for filming.
We have received our final edits (only a few weeks after the wedding) and couldn’t be more pleased with our films. They’ve been edited fantastically and it’s so nice to watch to relive the day.
Initially we weren’t really sure if we would need a videographer - we are both big introverts and the idea of being recorded most of the day was daunting. But booking John has been one of our best decisions because he was fantastic to work with and we will be able to cherish these videos forever.

We needed to find a videographer for our wedding at very short notice after we were let down and Maple Media were recommended to us by a member of our family who had hired them for their wedding. John was very responsive and patient as I, Paula, a flustered bride to be, explained what we needed our videographer to do for us and it was a bit off spec! Despite all of the hurdles, John and his colleague Gavin, smashed it for us!
We met John prior to our big day to go through the finer details. John had already been awake for hours before we met because he came into Edinburgh City Centre early to do some drone shots for our video.
What an incredible wedding day it was. Everything went perfectly. John and Gavin covered everything from bridal prep, to meeting the groom, the best man and family at the pub, then onto the registry office, our walk down the Royal Mile with the bagpiper and our evening event and evening photos as the sun went down and speeches, first dance and so on.
If you need a videographer for your big day you 100 per cent should hire Maple Media Productions. They will not let you down. They will go above and beyond. They will deliver at a reasonable cost, on schedule and the work is so professionally done.
The videos they have created for us have brought us (the bride & groom) and our family and friends to tears. They have captured the special moments in the most incredible way.
John and Gavin, keep doing what you are doing. Amazing work! We can’t thank you enough.

We had maple media for our wedding at the walled garden, we are so happy with how the full wedding film and short film turned out. We met with John before our wedding and was very helpful and captured all the moments we wanted on the day. We received our wedding teaser film and full film very quickly after our wedding. Would highly recommend maple media productions, very good value for money aswell! thanks again. -

John from maple media productions was friendly, reliable and professional from the first encounter. It was clear from meeting John how knowledgeable he is about his field and we were able to trust that our wedding video was in safe hands.
John was quick to send us a highlight video after the wedding and thorough in his editing of the final product. We had a very large array of music to choose from for the videos also.
So much care has evidently gone into the finished product, from the video itself through to the packaging it arrived in. We now have a wedding video we can cherish forever.
We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Maple Media Productions and would highly recommend them. -

we would like to thank john and having for capturing our wedding day. what a fantastic wedding video you have gave us with ever lasting memories. you both were so friendly and easy to work with and we had a lot fun with you guys, very relaxed. would highly recommend you guys communication was also great from start to finish. our personalised USB and box was beautiful and came with a little bag of love heart sweets. again thank you! -

Having decided we wanted a videographer for our wedding, we looked into many different companies. We didn't have a crazy budget for this as it was decided a bit last minute.
We were so happy we decided to go with John for our wedding. He explained perfectly how the day would unfold and just left us to it. You wouldnt even have known he was there most of the time. He captured everything perfectly, the ceremony, speeches and some dancing too. Watching the video back makes me so happy we went down this route because there is so much we didn't really absorb properly or even see on the day and it makes for a wonderful watch with friends and family. Just remember to have a box of tissues handy when you do! Everyone who has watched the video with us has thoroughly enjoyed it also. The music throughout the video, was placed perfectly too, the right song at the right moment.
Thank you so much John for your time and expertise on the day, you did a fantastic job and we are over the moon with it ❤️
