Essence Wedding & Events is a wedding videography company based out of Southport, in England's Merseyside region. Owners Rick and Dominic are passionate about every aspect of their work and love using their talents to help couples commemorate their big day. The pair prefers to work unobtrusively but they can also interact with guests to help them feel at ease in front of the camera. Couples throughout the United Kingdom can avail of this duo's services.

Services Offered

The documentary-style approach of Essence Wedding & Events will result in a cinematic video. This film will showcase the authentic spirit of the day, as well as every little moment that made it magical. If needed, Rick and Dominic can stay on-site for additional hours to make sure no detail has gone unnoticed. This company offers photography services in addition to videography for another way to document your milestone day.

We take the upmost pride in bringing your moment to life, in a beautiful cinematic feeling video. Capturing all photos in a candid relaxed manor, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the day

Canon Range r6 and c70 for true cinematic equipment and amazing colour science

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

How do you charge extra time?

£100ph after initial timings agreed

What are the forms of payment?

Bank transfer. Deposit taken (none refundable). 6 Months prior 50% remaining balance to be paid. 60 Days before full balance paid

How do you work?

As a pair Rick and Dominic will be working around you on the day. We stay low key and discreet so your day goes off with minimal interruptions. But the memories are captured forever

Truely Dreadful Photos

Our wedding was a few months ago now. We waited over two months for the photos. Then it took me a couple of months to get over how dreadful the photos are. After corresponding with Dom, we never met Rick, I decided to share. Dom said that a lot of time, care, and creative effort went into capturing and editing my wedding photos, and he stands by the work delivered ...... that these photos are consistent with his work. If this is the case then the photos on their website where taken by Rick or someone else altogether. We have not one nice close up of us on our wedding day, not one that we can put in a frame on our wall. None with my eyes open, unflattering angles, face screwed up, face in the shadows, my husband elbowing me in the chest whilst cutting the cake.

Excellent service

Could not have asked for more! Everything was absolutely perfect. The guys where friendly and professional and interacted so well with the guests that’s we got some absolutely stunning memories captured on film forever. Could not recommend them more!

From the moment I was introduced to Essence Weddings I experienced a friendly & relaxed service, the end result was just unbelievable, our wedding video is out of this world, they put a very unique twist on the outcome, amazing photos too. Better than perfect

Extremely happy with their professionalism and the excellent results. Even our guests loved them and brilliant with the children.They captured every moment without us seeing them there. We still get emotional with the video that they put together. Highly recommend Essence Weddings.

Incredible photography and top blokes

We absolute loved the finished product. Our pictures captured the moments and the video captured the entire story of the day. We couldn't be happier with the result. But something the don't advertise is their personalities. They were brilliant! Had all of the guest it's stitches the entire day and we're great with the kids. They made our day more memorable just for entertainment factor. I could not recommend these guys enough. Top blokes! Extremely reasonably pricing for all in one photography and videography!

Dom did the photography for my wedding and he was incredible.
Very punctual and our photos were back super quick!! I expected to wait a few months, but dom had edited and returned within the week!
Would highly recommend!
