Hi, I'm Louis - a filmmaker based in Surrey specialising in natural, cinematic wedding films.
I spent years working in television and film, on productions including Bridgerton, The Witcher and The Rings of Power. But the most meaningful thing I've ever filmed was a wedding. There's something about capturing a real day, with real people and real emotion, that no drama or production can replicate.
Before I pick up a camera, I want to understand how you want your film to feel. Every couple is different - and the film should reflect that. My approach is relaxed and documentary-led. I don't stage moments or turn your day into a production. I simply observe, move quietly through the day, and capture things as they naturally unfold - the nervous laughter, the tearful speeches, the moments between moments.
The couples I work with often say they forgot I was there. That's exactly the goal.
I film using professional cinema cameras and audio equipment, and I cover everything from morning preparations through to the first dance.
