As someone that's always shyed away from photographs and videos, I thought my pre-wedding photoshoot was going to be a memorably uncomfortable experience. The prospect of a shoot with a professional photographer, where you are the sole focus, and being asked to strike poses, would normally have sent a literal shiver down my spine. And it did, right up until speaking to Sol. I'm not sure what it is about her, but her whole demeanour is just perfectly suited to her line of work. She was kind, easy-going, funny, and just immediately put me at ease. The 40 minutes of hell that I had envisaged disappeared and I somehow found myself genuinely enjoying my time, which passed before I realised it. Although it wasn't a long shoot, and didn't feel like any effort at all, the results were astounding. The first time I saw the photos was a genuinely magical moment, and without a doubt they're something that will always hold a special place for me. If you're considering hiring Sol for an event of any kind, just do it, I promise you won't regret it.

In the lead up to our wedding one thing my husband and I were undecided on was how we wanted it captured and what expense we should budget for. It was a little daunting looking around as there were so many options and finding what felt right for us between super polished, high-production stuff and the more casual, intimate options made us go in circles for a while. I eventually came across Sol’s business page and after a little conversation we had a good feeling.

We spoke a little about the style we’d like to go for, and even though the two of us probably didn’t always communicate it very coherently, Sol was very receptive and helped us map out what was right for us. She was very attentive to what we expressed we wanted (and didn’t want) and flexible within our boundaries so going into the day we felt we were in good hands - and on the day she was amazing! She was very discreet when the moment required and now I’ve seen them I can’t believe she did what she did. The photos we received are so special and the memories of our day captured so beautifully. I now have several of them framed around the house as I love them!

I can’t fault Sol’s professionalism, expertise and instinct in any way. She helped capture memories we will cherish forever. I’d recommend her service to anyone looking for something bespoke and intimate but without breaking the bank.
