Stradsett Hall's signature open-air Rose Garden ceremonies are the stuff of bridal dreams whilst this quintessential stately home, nestled amidst 2000 acres of rolling Norfolk estate, also offers a further three atmospheric in-door ceremony and reception venues to choose from. In addition a selection of picturesque park, lake and lawn marquee locations are available to those with a tented reception in mind.
Here the privacy, elegance and style of a bygone era are perfectly coupled with the kind of personal touches and flexibility that only a private estate can offer - think moonlight ceremonies, stress-free longer set-up times, late night finishes and the freedom to have a fireworks display or bring in your own suppliers or simply choose from the outstanding house list. Weddings of all sizes and budgets are welcomed, packages start from under £2000 and the estate tends to limit the number of bookings they take so that no two Stradsett weddings need ever be the same.
Ideally located just 5 minutes from Downham Market Station where hourly 90 minute train services run to and from London King's Cross. Cambridge and Stanstead Airport are also easily reached by train making Stradsett Hall one of the most easily acessible Norfolk wedding destinations.

We knew it was meant to be...
From an early age I dreamt of getting married on a beach in a hot country - However we decided we wouldn't want to miss having all of our family and friends share our day. I still wanted to get married outside and after much research we came across Stradsett Hall. We knew it was meant to be when we found out we could have our ceremony in the rose garden and the reception in the Old Stables. We went for a classical vintage English country theme to suit the venue and used lots of roses.Sent on 07/02/2018

Dream English Country Wedding
When i first visited Stradsett Hall, i was struck by how warm and welcoming the reception was. Alfred and Charlotte were charming, witty, modest and incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process. They guided us through the options and suppliers for the big day with ease, and couldn't have been more spot on with their recommendations. Julie Abbs, our caterers for the day were splendid, with an excellent team and the food was nothing short of perfection. Many of the guests said it was the perfect English country wedding venue, complete with stunning rose garden, orangery, and it's own romantic chapel. Completely Jane Austen! We highly recommend it as a wedding venue.Sent on 13/02/2018

I fell in love with the house and its surroundings
As soon as I visited Stradsett Hall I fell in love with the house and its surroundings and knew this was where I would like to marry. With a vintage wedding theme mind it was perfect, especially with the rose garden as an option for our ceremony.Sent on 20/07/2017
