  I would like to thank all at the White Swan for helping to make our special day so wonderful and so memorable. {see trip advisor review posted today} The staff were so friendly and the service so efficient, the meal was excellent and most of all we appreciated the welcome you gave to our whippet Monica.Please pass on our thanks to all involved.

  A massive thank you!!

  Good afternoon Valerie,
  
  We have finally recovered from our big day. We just wanted to send you a message to say a huge thank you to yourself, Anthony, Louise and all the team who helped our wedding day run so smoothly!
  
  From booking with you back in August 2016 to Saturday itself you have always been there to assist and guide us, nothing was too big or small.
  
  The organisation of everything was perfect from the timings on the day to the service, the friendly staff, the fantastic food and drink and accommodation! We love the White Swan and the rooms both looked brilliant!
  
  We can't wait to come back and celebrate our anniversaries up there!

  Huge thank you!

  I just wanted to say a huge thank you. The whole day was everything I wanted and more (except for my abundance of nerves). You were a great help from start to finish. We've spent a year setting it up and although I found it difficult I am by no way happy it's now passed. I wish I could relive the day again. You and your team made it magical, that's all we could have asked for. You are truly a wedding wizard my dear.

  Cant thank them enough!

  The hotel just worked with us every step of the way, no detail was too detailed, no email or phone call went unanswered. They delivered a bespoke event for us going above and beyond. The support was just what we needed to help keep the anxietys down about how our reception would run. These people are pros!!! Can't thank them enough.

  They went above & beyond

  Each and every member of staff at the Hotel played a part in our special day. From the moment we attended the wedding fair, through to booking the wedding and the moment we left as husband and wife the staff could not have done more for us. Nothing was a problem and they went above and beyond to help us have the best day ever.

  "We had to change the wedding date and the venue and team accommodated this with ease. They went above and beyond to make sure our day went without issue especially a contingency plan for the unexpected rain.
  The team were fantastic for accommodating our dietary requirements as we had diabetics, coeliacs and vegetarians in our group and the options and variety available for our guests was inspired and its excellence was commented on by our guests.
  The experience and dedication of the team was visible and evident in their professional and friendly approach to their duties to create a fantastic day for us any our guests. Valarie (event team leader) was very approachable and able to meet our individual requirements and any requests we had she saw they were carried out and if compromise was required it was discussed in a professional and friendly manor. Valerie and her team were great at accommodating us, as my husband spends lots of time out of the country we arranged somethings in advance of 18 months and somethings were more last minute, the team adapted and worked hard to make sure our dealings with the venue and the team were spot on.
  Friends and family still comment on the day and the great time they had visiting the White Swan at Alnwick .Its historical interior created a spectacular and appropriate setting for our day and complimented the military uniforms worn by the groom and best man. The physical location was a point of interest for our guests as they visited from all over the world and experienced the venue as a holiday hotel as well as a wedding venue and were delighted with their service and time sent there.

  Amazing venue, fabulous staff

  We were lucky enough to hold our wedding in the White Swan on the 9th November 2013. The staff are second to none and nothing is too much trouble for them. For example, the manager took time out to talk to us as the wedding planner was leaving 2 days before our wedding, and he wanted to reassure us that it wouldn't affect our day. The Olympic Suite is stunning - pictures don't do it justice. The day ran without a hitch and the food was amazing! It certainly didn't taste like the usual mass produced food we've had at other wedding venues. Our guests have commented on how nice and comfortable the hotel rooms were, and how comfortable the beds are.
  As we said before though, the major selling point for this hotel is the staff. We had amazing service from the hotel staff all weekend but a special mention has to go to Jannick, who is the bar manager and acted as our MC all day. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He made sure everyone was happy, without being 'in your face' and was just an absolute star. Our guests have also said how he helped make the day for them.

  Dear Charlotte, Jannick and all the staff of The White Swan
  
  Thank you very much for all your support and effort to make our day so special. All staff were friendly and professional on the day and there wasn't anything we could have wished for to be better as everything was perfect.
