We had the most incredible experience at Hothorpe Estate — it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every space, from the ceremony setting to the reception area, felt thoughtfully designed and made our day truly magical.
Alice was exceptional throughout the entire process. From the very beginning of planning, she was attentive, organised, and so kind — ensuring every detail came together perfectly. Her guidance gave us such peace of mind, allowing us to simply enjoy the day knowing everything was in safe hands.
Our guests were blown away by the venue, the flow of the day, and how seamlessly everything ran. We couldn’t be more grateful to Alice and the whole team at Hothorpe for making our wedding day so special.
We’ll cherish the memories of our time there forever and couldn’t recommend Hothorpe Estate highly enough.

Absolutely perfect venue for our wedding. The ceremony area is so peaceful and stunning. Having the accommodation within the venue was perfect as all of our guests could come and go all day and enjoy the day to its max. The team were so responsive and executed their services seamlessly so you almost didn’t notice them, which shows how hard they worked. Our co-ordinator was extremely responsive and helpful in the months and weeks leading up to the big day which always put us at ease. We truly had the perfect day and we cannot thank the whole team at the woodlands enough for their efforts in making it so special for us. Our only annoyance is that we had to leave as we could have stayed there for ages! -

From the moment we visited The Woodlands we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The team were incredibly helpful during the planning stages and ensured everything went smoothly on the day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and all our guests said how relaxed the day felt. The food and drinks were brilliant and all of our guests enjoyed the pizzas from the outside kitchen in the evening. Everyone had a great nights sleep as the rooms are so comfortable and having a delicious breakfast with everyone the next morning was the perfect end to our special day. -

Everything we dreamt of
Thank you so much for being amazing since we first visited in January. You have always gone above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamt it would be. Thank you so much for working so hard to ensure that it’s all gone according to plan. We could not have asked for, or imagined, a more beautiful place, with amazing people, to get married in. We are so thankful for each one of you. -

We had a magical day at our small wedding with family and friends at the Woodlands. Aimee our wedding coordinator was brilliant at answering queries and coordinating on the day. The food and drink and service was superb as was the accommodation, and getting to stay in the Tree House was the icing on the cake! -

My wedding was perfect, the venue is beautiful (bonus for the groom was the honeymoon suite is a treehouse), the suppliers they suggest are all flexible, friendly and professional, and the staff are all friendly and happy to do anything to make the day perfect.
The food was out of this world, Michelin star quality and catered to all dietary requirements. I have never been to a wedding where I was so full after the wedding breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and the evening roasted baguettes were so good people went up for seconds and thirds.
The Tipi was perfect for smores and for those who just needed a break from the main wedding noise. The open fire was beautiful.
The cottage for the night before was perfect, it made getting ready the next day so easy and the wedding co-ordinator checked in before going onto the venue.
Aimee was amazing and so friendly/flexible. She made our day perfect! I asked so many random questions and she always responded quickly and went out of her way to fulfil any requests.
For those looking for an accessible venue The Woodlands is perfect. All areas are accessible and the staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is included and is comfortable.
Thank you to everyone at the Woodlands, I couldn't of dreamt of a more perfect day. -
