From the moment we booked our wedding at The Royal Toby Hotel, we knew we were in safe hands – but the team went far beyond our expectations. Every single member of staff was amazing, going that extra mile to support not only us but also our guests, making everyone feel welcome and cared for.
A very special mention has to go to Chelsea and Joe, who made the whole journey truly magical. From the early stages of planning and preparation, to the smooth running of the big day itself, and even helping us pack the car the next morning – nothing was ever too much trouble. Their attention to detail, calm reassurance, and genuine kindness made us feel so supported every step of the way.
The package we chose included everything we could possibly think of – and more! From the beautiful setting and delicious food to thoughtful touches we didn’t even realise we’d need. We were even delighted to find it included a complimentary dine and stay for our first wedding anniversary, which is such a lovely way to continue the memories.
Our guests haven’t stopped telling us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to – and some have even booked meals at the Royal Toby restaurant for their own special occasions after experiencing the food and service.
The Royal Toby has truly thought of everything. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day exactly as we dreamed – relaxed, joyful, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a venue that cares as much about your day as you do, this is the place.The Royal Toby Hotel's reply:

From our first meeting to our beautiful wedding was absolutely amazing Chelsea and Joe and there team went above and beyond for me and my husband, everything we asked for these guys did and more so ,you guys are the best thank you again for our amazing day wish I could do it all over again ❤️ we would 1000% recommend as these guys are the bestThe Royal Toby Hotel's reply:

Best day ever!
We got married at The Royal Toby in The Rhyddings Suite at the end of August this year. We found the packages really reasonable. The menu choices were amazing, so much more choice than any other venue and the food was amazing. The venue itself is just beautiful and great for photos and the hotel rooms lovely too. Our wedding organisers Chelsea and Joe were simply amazing, they are made for this job! Nothing is too much trouble, they have excellent knowledge and advice, brilliant communication and on the day they kept everything running perfectly and always with a smile on their faces! The other staff members were also brilliant. We are so glad we booked this venue and would recommend it to anyone 100%!The Royal Toby Hotel's reply:

From booking our wedding to the morning after the big day the staff at the toby were amazing. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Both Chelsea & Joe helped us with all the planning and we couldn't fault them, they took our vision and helped us with all the finer details. The day itself ran better than we imagined, the set up was beautiful and all the finishing touches were perfect. Chelsea was on hand if we needed anything and the ensure the day ran smoothly. We had lots of guests so it was very busy but nothing was too much for the staff. Guests have told us how it's the best wedding they've been to and how gorgeous the food was. We highly recommend The Toby and would love to repeat the day if we could!

We had a twilight wedding in August and had a great day. Chelsea the events manager is fantastic and helped us every step of the way. We wanted a smaller more intimate wedding and The Royal Toby was perfect for this. A lot of our guests stayed over and all gave good reviews too.

Wedding planners Joe and Chelsea were amazing from start to finish. Venue was beautiful and they did an amazing job setting everything up. Staff on the day did an amazing job, everything run smoothly. Couldn’t have asked for a better day! Would highly recommend.The Royal Toby Hotel's reply:

You are in extremely good hands if you decide to get married here with Chelsea and the team.
When planning the big day nothing is ever too much trouble, everything is catered for what you need and the whole process was super easy and stress free.
The day was an absolute dream. Everything ran so smoothly and everyone had the best day ever. We didn’t need to worry about a thing. The staff on the day took care of everything. Everyone who attended could not believe how amazing everything was. And the food was unreal!!
We would highly recommend staying at the hotel too, the service, the room and the breakfast was brill!
We cannot praise Chelsea, Alan and all the staff who made our day so special enough. They were so attentive, hardworking and went above and beyond for everyone present on the day. It was the best day of our lives and it was all down to them!The Royal Toby Hotel's reply:
