Perfect Wedding ❤️

100 days before our planned wedding- we got the devastating news that our venue was to be shut with immediate effect. We hadn’t originally looked at The Petwood- but we are so glad that we contacted the Events team at the Petwood whilst in our moment of need!

We were instantly impressed with the venue itself, grounds, welcoming staff and beautiful guest rooms. Jackie and her team truly listened to what we wanted and made our vision come to life with only 100 ish days to go. My mind was put to ease and I instantly felt stress free. Communication was amazing- Jackie is very responsive and answered any questions and queries very quickly. I cannot thank the Team at the Petwood enough, with their help- my wedding was the most magical day and I couldn’t have wished for anymore.

A big shout out to Richard who coordinated the day with the upmost professionalism and helped so much with making sure every detail was addressed for the day itself.

Second shout out to the in-house DJ provided by the Petwood who made not only our first dance so special by mixing it up a little but listened to our love of the 90s and even now 3 weeks later- guests are still saying they have never danced so much!!! You really did get the party started!!!

I’ll be forever grateful. We plan to return each December to celebrate our anniversary!

My advice to all future brides- visit The Petwood and see the magic for yourselves!!!

Our lovely wedding at the Petwood

The Petwood was a perfect setting for our wedding. We had a dream wedding and it was the best day that we could have asked for. Our thanks to Jackie, for all her hard work in helping us to plan our wedding from start to finish. She was so accommodating from day one and was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Thanks also to Richard for making sure that the day itself ran so wonderfully and keeping us calm! Ours was a small family wedding and the Garden Room was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. The bridal suite was spacious and had everything we needed, the view was amazing and we loved the old-fashioned claw-foot bath. We would recommend the Petwood to anyone wanting to have a wedding day to remember.

Our wedding 6th June 2026

Everything at the Petwood Hotel first class Jackie in events from start to finish was excellent and Richard our master of ceremonies exceptional. The food was fantastic along with all staff that served us.

The Dugdale's Wedding

What a wonderful day we had, the Décor and organisation at Petwood Hotel was far better than we had imagined. From the day we first booked our wedding the help we got from Jackie at Petwood was second to none. Jackie ensured we knew what we needed to do and helped with seating and menu plans. The hotel and the grounds where just the perfect setting for our wedding. On the day of the wedding everything was organised perfectly by Richard and his staff. We couldn't have asked for anything more the weather was also glorious and we had the most perfect day. All of our guests had a wonderful day. Perfect wedding day at a perfect venue.

Wedding 24 May

It went so, so well. We had a lot of delays which the Petwood handled smoothly. The room and space was beautiful, the gardens were breath taking and the staff could not have been more attentive and kind. They went above and beyond.

A truly incredible day

While the initial investment may appear substantial, the comprehensive organizational services provided significantly mitigate potential challenges, thereby offering exceptional value. These services encompass all aspects, from catering and table arrangements to ceremony room configuration, allowing you to focus on customizing intricate details to craft a truly unique experience.

The culinary offerings were exceptional, exceeding expectations in terms of quality, presentation, and flavor.

The staff demonstrated exemplary professionalism, reflecting positively on Petwood. This includes the events team, who expertly managed the day and collaborated in the planning process with my wife and me, as well as the front desk personnel, who consistently exhibited helpfulness, politeness, and professionalism with a positive demeanor. Furthermore, the bar staff were outstanding, engaging, and consistently displayed a cheerful disposition.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all staff for contributing to such an amazing day. For anyone considering booking a wedding, we highly recommend placing them at the top of your list. Should you choose to plan your wedding with Petwood, it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.

Our Magical Wedding

From start to finish. The team at the Petwood were amazing, Jackie was a main point of contact throughout the whole process. Thr day before the big day, we met with Richard from the Petwood, who would be our Master of Ceremony and wedding Manager for the following day.

Richard was absolutely incredible, not once was he stood still and was constantly making sure we had everything we needed all day.

Luckily the weather held out for the day and we managed to get some beautiful pictures kn the grounds too.

We'll hopefully be back every year for an anniversary meal and a nights stay back in the Maple suite.

Jon & Eve’s Autumn Wedding

When I say our day was perfect, I mean more than just our wedding day.

From start to finish, the team at The Petwood were nothing short of amazing. Our entire correspondence and meetings with Jackie, our event organiser, made us feel like we were the only couple to ever get married there, nothing was too much trouble! Our master of service, Richard was incredible and made sure, with the help of the entire team, that we had everything taken care of-giving us the most perfect, hassle free day.

The Hotel itself is phenomenal, the grounds are beautiful and it had significant meaning to us (WWII History enthusiasts) with its historical links to the Dambusters.

We can’t thank everyone enough who was involved in our very special day!

The Petwood really delivered for our dream day!!!

The Petwood proved the most perfect venue for our wedding. We decided to get married in early September and the hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning and it all made our day extra special. We also found the wedding packages very reasonable and great value for money with respect to other wedding venues in the Lincoln area.

The hotel offers plenty of bedrooms (of all types to suit peoples needs) and so this helps with logisitics on the day. The gardens offer a huge space and in particular are so well kept and extremely pretty throughout the year making it ideal for your wedding photos to be captured. The Woodland Suite is in a great location towards the back of the hotel because it offers privacy for you and your guests with your own bar and both inside & outside seating/tables with easy access into the gardens and only a couple of minutes walk to the main hotel bar if you would still like to drink/eat there.

The hotel is also in close proximity to a number of excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars in the village and all of these are walking distance (10-15 minutes).

The canopes went down really well and our wedding breakfast and evening food options were delicous and well prepared by the catering team. The food service was efficent and really well organised.

Our wedding planner (Aimee) was fantastic from the outset and so attentive to all of our needs (and stresses!) during the build up to our wedding day. She really goes above and beyond and supports you in every aspect to the planning, organisation and running order for the day to run as smoothly as possible. Additionally, all of the staff and team at the Petwood are so professional and friendly and you are gauranteed to receive excellent customer service and satisfaction.
