David is exceptionally attentive and the entire team both seen and unseen delivered everything to such a high standard, you would be foolish not to consider.
Every detail was executed as we asked, our photographer and band found dealing with the staff at the lawn effortless meaning that by the time we arrived there were no questions left to answer.
The bar staff were friendly throughout the evening with swift service throughout
The food is truly restaurant quality and with our unique request it was delivered absolutely perfectly, our Vegan and Gluten Free guests were catered for without hesitation.
There is simply no better venue. We had 100 for the breakfast and a further 20 join us in the evening.
What more can I say! This place hosted the biggest bad best day of our lives and the entire Lawn team helped make it so!The Lawn's reply:

From the moment we first visited The Lawn, we knew it was our venue. David and the team are so committed to making the day special to you, and so down to earth and easy to communicate with. They are flexible, supportive and helpful in creating whatever your unique vision is for your special day. The ease in which we booked and planned the day, the responsiveness to our emails, and ultimately how smooth and care free the day went. We honestly could not recommend them enough. The food and service were exceptional, and we still cannot believe we got everything we wanted from a Manor House aesthetic wedding within a totally reasonable budget! We had so many questions from guests on how we found the venue, and compliments to how enjoyable the day had been.The Lawn's reply:

Our wedding
We got married on 8th August this year . We couldn’t recommend this venue enough . The Lawns were very professional from booking our wedding with them . To the tasting session and of course the day itself went off with out a hitch , staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, no wedding planner needed the Lawns knew exactly what to do and how to do it .
Our day was perfect everyone commented on how well our wedding went and we couldn’t thank David and the team at the lawns for making our day so special .

The Lawn is an absolutely stunning venue. The grounds, the exterior of the building itself, and the interior are all beautiful and honestly took our breath away when we first saw it.
The team are also amazing, I was a nervous bride before I got married and the team were so helpful with all my questions, not to mention how many guests were complimenting how smooth the wedding day went because of their amazing service. They really do everything they can to put you at ease from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend The Lawn enough!The Lawn's reply:

Wedding 2025
I would highly recommend the Lawn to anyone who is considering using this venue for their wedding or for any other special event they have coming up. The staff and management are very friendly and have a real warmth from the moment you meet them. They really go out their way to make the day as special for you as they can.
The grounds itself are a sight to be hold, inside and outside. You can capture some beautiful pictures with family and friends, around the entire venue.
The catering was lovely also, with staff making sure everything ran smoothly throughout. I had plenty of guests come to me with lots of greats things to say about the food. The range of food choices is also really good as it is accommodating to everyone including those with specific dietary choices and needs.
I would definitely use the venue again. It’s a great place run by great people. -

Charlotte Sent on 24/06/2025The Lawn, Rochford – Our Perfect Wedding Venue
We had our wedding at The Lawn in Rochford and we honestly can't recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, they were more than just a venue – they became like our wedding planners, our toastmasters on the day, and our emotional support team all in one. Their help went far beyond what we ever expected, and their level of involvement was entirely led by us – they were there as much or as little as we needed.
What stood out most was how personalised the whole experience felt. It didn’t feel like we were just another wedding on the books – it felt like our day, completely tailored to us. Every little detail was thought of, and nothing was too much trouble.
On the day itself, I was running late getting ready, but at no point did anyone pressure me or my hair and makeup team to hurry up. Instead, they just quietly ensured everything was still running smoothly in the background. Their priority was always making sure we had the perfect day – and we really, really did.
One of the most touching moments was just after we got married, when they allowed us to have a quiet drink alone together as a newly married couple before the meal. That little breather meant so much and showed just how thoughtful and experienced the team are.
Our wedding wasn’t entirely traditional – we had a brass band, and a Christian Russian Orthodox wedding ceremony after the legal marriage – and The Lawn welcomed all of it with warmth and complete flexibility. Nothing phased them. They were so accommodating with every aspect of the day.
David and the entire team were just incredible. I sent many long and detailed emails in the lead-up, and every single one was answered with care and attention. They made us feel heard, understood, and totally supported every step of the way.
It’s a family-run venue and you can absolutely feel that. Their pride, passion, and attention to detail shine through in everything they do – from their amazing team to their recommended suppliers, all of whom were brilliant too.
We’re honestly so sad we don’t get to keep liaising with them anymore! We are so deeply grateful to The Lawn for making our day so special. It was truly the perfect day, and that was because of them.
Beautiful venue, incredible team, personalised service, very reasonably priced – what more could you ask for?

Perfect Wedding Venue
We had a really beautiful wedding day at The Lawn. The experienced team were very helpful with the planning and professional throughout, taking any potential stress out of the day so that we could relax and fully enjoy our special day. Everything went as planned, including the weather allowing us to get married outside in the very pretty gazebo (there was a great back-up plan in case of rain so we didn't have to worry!). Our 60 day guests enjoyed a three course meal which was of great quality; we had many compliments about the food and service, including the evening buffet for 110 guests. The Lawn is a fantastic setting for a wedding, coupled with great service, that we would thoroughly recommend.The Lawn's reply:

I cannot express the gratitude I have for The Lawn. We had our day on the 25th May 2024 and from start to finish the staff were amazing.

Where to start? From beginning to end, The Lawn were the perfect venue choice! Not just because of the stunning house and gardens, but because David and the team made every step as stress-free and enjoyable as possible (even with all the questions we kept pinging them). We knew before we visited that The Lawn was the venue for us, to the point we booked then and there! We had absolutely no worries leading up to the day about how things were going to run and throughout the day there was always someone on hand (and with a smile).
