We had our wedding at The Lawn on the 27th March 2026, and quite honestly, we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue.
From the very beginning, everything about The Lawn felt special. The setting itself is absolutely stunning—a beautiful Georgian manor house surrounded by immaculate gardens and countryside, creating the most incredible backdrop for our day and our photos. It really does feel like you have your own private estate for the day, which made everything feel so personal and intimate.
What truly sets The Lawn apart, though, is the people. The team were exceptional from start to finish—so friendly, calm, and incredibly organised. They made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable, and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. We were able to completely relax and just enjoy every moment, knowing everything was taken care of.
The exclusive use of the venue meant the whole day felt entirely ours, and the layout of the house worked perfectly—from the ceremony through to the evening celebrations. Every space felt warm, elegant, and welcoming, and our guests commented again and again on how beautiful and well-run everything was.
Nothing ever felt too much trouble, and the level of care and attention we received went above and beyond anything we expected. It genuinely felt like the team were just as invested in making our day special as we were.
We are so grateful to everyone at The Lawn for helping to create such an unforgettable day. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for something truly exceptional.The Lawn's reply:

Our wedding on July 18th 2026 at The Lawn was truly magical and if you are planning your future wedding, we would most definitely recommend The Lawn.
The grounds were absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our wedding. Everything came together so wonderfully on the day for our Harry Potter themed wedding and we felt so well looked after from beginning to end. All of the staff were so kind, attentive and helpful, and every little detail was taken care of.
All of the organisation leading up to the day was great, we never had to worry about anything. The food was absolutely lovely, and so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. We requested some cocktails for the drinks reception which were fantastic. A special mention has to go to our toastmaster for the day, who looked fantastic in his Hufflepuff tie and helped bring everything together on the day!
We were also so grateful for the help with the little details that made such a difference, particularly making sure the tables were beautifully arranged, the perfectly timed music for the ceremony and helping to fluff my train and make sure my dress was perfect just before I walked down the aisle. It was such a special moment, and I really appreciated the care that went into making sure everything was just right.
We were so excited to be able to include a live owl as part of our Harry Potter theme, and being able to have such a magical and memorable experience at The Lawn made the day feel like a real-life Hogwarts experience!
Our wedding day was truly magical and everything we had dreamed of and more. We honestly cannot thank David and the whole team enough for all of their hard work, care and organisation. We will remember the day for the rest of our lives. -

I’m not quite sure I can put into words how incredible David and the team at the lawn really are. We were able to be completely present and enjoy every single minute of our special day, because the venue handle absolutely everything. It was seamless, beautiful and just perfect. Nothing was ever too much for the team, the way we were able to style the orangery and the whole venue to capture our regency vision. The house and grounds are just kept immaculate and their reputation really does hold up. Their guest coordination made the day flow, and the phenomenal food and portion size kept the guests very happy. We are so happy we booked to get married at the lawn, and are so very grateful. First of all, the Lawn and it's beautiful grounds are absolutely incredible, to look at and for your special wedding day photos. Even though it is all stunning, it's actually the staff that made our day. David and the whole team were not only highly organised and efficient but incredibly caring and attentive. they helped us achieve every aspect of our wedding that we wanted and it was actually more than we could have dreamed of. Our whole day ran smoothly from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for the team, even though it was extreme heat on the day, they didn't falter and us and our guests remained their priority throughout. Every staff member just blended in around our family and everyone commented on the fantastic job they had done. That is without everything that went on behind the scenes that we didn't see. The food was also absolutely incredible! Everyone loved it. We cannot thank you all enough for the incredible day you gave us and we would absolutely recommend you to anyone we can.

To any engaged couples who are considering having their wedding here, this is your sign to book this venue today!
When we got engaged, it was the happiest day of my life! I couldn’t wait to set a date for our wedding! But when we started to look around venues, the cost of everything was such a shock, I began to wonder if we could ever even afford to get married.
The Lawn changed all that. We booked a beautiful twilight wedding for a very affordable price in November 2025.
I still remember going to The Lawn for my first look around. The driveway itself is very impressive! And the house is just beautiful. It has a wonderful, traditional feel to it.
David showed me around and I instantly trusted him. He is incredibly professional and friendly. He put me at ease and I just knew he would do a good job.
It’s a really big deal booking a wedding venue and putting your trust in someone like that. David and his team completely understood that and I was treated with nothing but respect from the moment I booked.
One of the best things about working with David is the speed and helpfulness at which he replied to my (many!) emails in the lead up to the wedding. No question was too small or too silly. It really put my mind at rest and made the whole planning process much less stressful!
The venue looks wonderful in the twilight setting - the lighting is perfect for this time of day. We also had many positive comments from our guests on the quality of the food.
The Lawn hosts a lot of weddings and they are really good at what they do. But I was never made to feel like we were ‘just another wedding’. They know how special and important this event is and treated me accordingly.
We will be forever grateful for the most wonderful wedding day and we cannot recommend or thank them enough. -

From the moment we first visited The Lawn, we knew it was our venue. David and the team are so committed to making the day special to you, and so down to earth and easy to communicate with. They are flexible, supportive and helpful in creating whatever your unique vision is for your special day. The ease in which we booked and planned the day, the responsiveness to our emails, and ultimately how smooth and care free the day went. We honestly could not recommend them enough. The food and service were exceptional, and we still cannot believe we got everything we wanted from a Manor House aesthetic wedding within a totally reasonable budget! We had so many questions from guests on how we found the venue, and compliments to how enjoyable the day had been.The Lawn's reply:

Our wedding
We got married on 8th August this year . We couldn’t recommend this venue enough . The Lawns were very professional from booking our wedding with them . To the tasting session and of course the day itself went off with out a hitch , staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, no wedding planner needed the Lawns knew exactly what to do and how to do it .
Our day was perfect everyone commented on how well our wedding went and we couldn’t thank David and the team at the lawns for making our day so special .

The Lawn is an absolutely stunning venue. The grounds, the exterior of the building itself, and the interior are all beautiful and honestly took our breath away when we first saw it.
The team are also amazing, I was a nervous bride before I got married and the team were so helpful with all my questions, not to mention how many guests were complimenting how smooth the wedding day went because of their amazing service. They really do everything they can to put you at ease from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend The Lawn enough!The Lawn's reply:

David is exceptionally attentive and the entire team both seen and unseen delivered everything to such a high standard, you would be foolish not to consider.
Every detail was executed as we asked, our photographer and band found dealing with the staff at the lawn effortless meaning that by the time we arrived there were no questions left to answer.
The bar staff were friendly throughout the evening with swift service throughout
The food is truly restaurant quality and with our unique request it was delivered absolutely perfectly, our Vegan and Gluten Free guests were catered for without hesitation.
There is simply no better venue. We had 100 for the breakfast and a further 20 join us in the evening.
What more can I say! This place hosted the biggest bad best day of our lives and the entire Lawn team helped make it so!The Lawn's reply:
