We've just got married at the Green House Hotel, and honestly we can't think of a single way in which it could have gone better. Courtney and Jorja were fantastic throughout the planning process, guiding us through all the bits we'd totally forgotten to consider, and Jorja on the day kept everything running so smoothly it was genuinely completely effortless! Everyone was so accommodating of our families wanting to be involved in getting things ready and deviate from the usual plan to make the wedding truly our own, the staff were all so helpful and friendly.
Special mention must also go to the food, which was far and away the best wedding food I've ever had. And it isn't even close. The whole venue was lovely, it fitted what we wanted perfectly, and I just can't be positive enough about how good the staff were - especially Jorja who made the day itself run quite so well. We had our wedding reception at the hotel. We used the party package for a DJ, buffet and welcome drinks. Reasonably priced, and had the canapes as an extra.
The food (I was told) was really good, plenty for everyone. The DJ is a classic party DJ, I'm hindsight we should have gone for a alt music specialist as the DJ provided did struggle to put together a playlist - but it worked out in the end.
Room was lovely. We got a 10% for guests to stay.
The downstairs room can get toasty, but the outside is nice to cool down. -

Well where do I start to describe such a perfect wedding? When I started with pen to paper a year ago I knew how I wanted it to look & feel. I wanted it to be a celebration of family & friends full of love & laughter in the sunshine. The outpouring of love and happiness all day and since has been overwhelming. And everyone said it was the most PERFECT venue, with the loveliest staff and that the food was unbelievable!! Even DJ Jools smashed it!! The dance floor was heaving and the singing loud!
From the humble beginnings to the fabulous finale, the two Sophie's who look after Events, have just been so great! They made everyone feel so welcomed and comfortable, and everything we envisioned they produced. At each changeover the room just looked so beautiful.
Our rooms were gorgeous and perfect, and we loved the rose petals :)
So a huge THANK YOU to all the staff that were there on Friday, and to the chef for the amazingly delicious food (that cheesecake was to die for!) - You really did us proud!
