From the moment we first saw The Elvetham online, we completely fell in love with it. When we visited in person, we fell in love with it even more. It is even more beautiful than the photos, full of history, charm and character. We knew straight away that this was where we wanted to get married.
We honestly don’t think there are enough words to describe how much The Elvetham means to us. It has become our favourite place. Of course, the venue itself is absolutely stunning, but what makes it truly special are the people. The staff make an already beautiful place even better.
Throughout the whole planning process and on our wedding day, we felt so well looked after. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, helpful and personable. We are incredibly grateful to the entire wedding team, especially Georgia, who was always so friendly, helpful and reassuring. We would also like to thank the hotel manager, the reception team, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen team, and every single member of staff who helped make our day so special.
The food deserves a special mention because it was absolutely incredible. Our wedding breakfast was amazing and received so many compliments from our guests. Every meal we have ever had at The Elvetham restaurant has also been exceptional, so we already knew our wedding food would be fantastic. The quality has always been consistently outstanding.
We are also so pleased we chose to have the Toastmaster David as part of our wedding. He was absolutely brilliant and kept everything running so smoothly while bringing such warmth and professionalism to the day. We would highly recommend having him.
What really made The Elvetham stand out were the thoughtful little touches. The night before our wedding, we were welcomed with complimentary chocolates and a lovely card. After the wedding, our stunning bridal suite was beautifully prepared with complimentary champagne, cake, decorations and another thoughtful card. On the day itself, as it was so hot, the hotel manager kindly arranged for all the children at our wedding to be given ice lollies. These may seem like small gestures, but they meant so much to us and perfectly reflect the genuine care and attention the team puts into making every guest’s experience special.
We genuinely cannot fault a single person. We visited The Elvetham many times before our wedding, and every single visit was met with the same kindness and exceptional service. It was never just because we were getting married, that is simply how they treat all of their guests, and that says everything about the hotel.
We had the most perfect day and couldn’t have wished for anything more. In fact, we already hope that one day one of our close family members or friends chooses to get married at The Elvetham, so that we can experience it all again from the perspective of wedding guests.
We will continue to visit and stay at The Elvetham for years to come because it will always have such a special place in our hearts. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our wedding at The Elvetham was beautiful. The venue was stunning with amazing staff. The day was perfect!
Our wedding coordinator, Morgan Webber made sure our day went smoothly. Morgan ensured to check in with us running up to wedding, ensuring our needs were catered for and met. She was very responsive to any emails and queries we asked.
On the day, the staff were amazing at looking after us and our guests. David, the toastmaster did a stellar job to keep our guests engaged throughout the day. The food was very good too.
We highly recommend The Elvetham to anyone considering to book this venue.

David the Toastmaster kept everyone in check and everyone moving. We cannot wait to visit this venue for pleasure moving forward as there is so much history this was the reason we chose it. Beautiful Venue
The hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are maintained beautifully. The staff on the day were amazing and our guests had such a lovely time. We had many compliments over the food, with one guest saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We had a lovely stay in the Bridal Suite. -

Such a unique place, perfect wedding venue!
The elvetham is such a beautiful place really well looked after and the grounds are amazing. Joanne looked after us from start to finish and she was amazing !! Everyone was the whole staff are just brilliant. Having the church on site was a really unique place to have the ceremony, it’s so great having everything at one place. The day was seamless and no stress. Thanks again. -

We are an older couple and were looking for somewhere beautiful for a civil ceremony and lunch for 40 people. Elvetham was absolutely perfect! The hotel and grounds are beyond fabulous and the wedding team were professional and attentive. We had specific requirements and things we absolutely didn’t want and they listened and carried out everything we asked for. On the day we were made to feel extremely special and it was so calm that we were able to really enjoy our special day. They have a wonderful head chef who came and discussed our needs when we went for a tasting; the food on the day was wonderful. We absolutely recommend Elvetham for a perfect wedding!! -

We cannot fault The Elvetham in any way! Our day was absolutely fantastic! The perfect wedding thanks to the professionalism and organisation of all the staff! Evie our personal organiser and David our toastmaster were both incredible!!

My bridesmaids and I used the Elvetham to get ready for the wedding, there was a small mix up which was handled with kindness and grace and much generosity. I also stayed here with my husband the night of the wedding and it was so beautiful!
