Magical

I just wanted to write and thank you for everything. It was such a magical and emotional day - I didn't want it to end. Even though it was cloudy, the ceremony was so beautiful by the lake. The flowers and the surrounding willow trees were stunning and I loved hearing the ducks during the quiet moments of the ceremony! However, as you know, the sun did appear late afternoon, and it was a glorious evening by the lake. I received so many lovely comments from guests who were totally taken aback by the beauty of the venue. Many of them told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and felt honoured and privileged to have been part of it.

Your staff were wonderful. I must mention the young man who is in charge. He was so very helpful and even at the end when I came back to collect everything, he was there to help.

The food was excellent - and again, I had many good comments on it. - particularly the deserts!!

So a huge thank you to all involved. It would be lovely to use the Dairy again in the future, I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a venue. (June 2015)

Stunning venue

The Dairy was such a unique and stunning venue, the perfect place for our guests to explore. It really is a hidden gem and all our guests commented how special it was. The jetty by the lake was a particular highlight. The grounds are simply stunning with so many photo opportunities. The events team could not have been more lovely.
Would highly recommend!

Incredible wedding venue!

We got married on 4th November 2023 at this incredible venue!

From start to finish it was such a pleasure speaking to the team at Waddeson events , they were so helpful and so quick at responding to questions over the past 11 months. It made the process of planning a wedding - especially doing dry hire - so easy and we can’t them enough.

The venue itself is absolutely spectacular and I still can’t quite believe we got married there! Having the drinks reception in the winter garden was magical, the wedding breakfast in the south hall with the candles, chandeliers, fires and dimmed lighting was incredibly romantic and then going into the west hall for dancing all flowed so nicely! It meant we didn’t have to worry at all about moving tables or furniture as everything flowed into the next room.

Having accommodation at the Five Arrows for closest family and friends was brilliant and lovely to be able to get ready at the gorgeous cottage. The staff were brilliant at showing us round and sorting everything out. We also used The Buttery for the children during the wedding reception, meaning they were able to join us for dancing later that evening.

The grounds at the venue are breathtaking, so many of our guests commented on the beautiful trees (particularly the willows!), entrance, courtyard and lake. It’s such a beautiful setting. Not to mention having a bit of rain when we were just about to do photos, that didn’t dampen the mood or photos as there are so many gorgeous spots to have photographs outside that are still undercover! When it brightened up, having a photo outside the wedding cake and gardens felt like we were in a magazine shoot.

We can’t thank the team enough and would recommend this venue to anyone. It was the best day of our lives and we shall cherish the memories from The Dairy forever.

Amazing Venue

I wanted to thank you very much for all your hard work in helping to make Katie and Steve's wedding on 3 August such a memorable day. You were such a calming influence and professional through and through.

In the build up to the wedding you helped us to feel confident that it would all run smoothly and from the moment we arrived at the Dairy on the wedding day you were there to ensure we relaxed.

The perfect venue with the perfect service

You cannot beat The Dairy at Waddesdon as a wedding venue. The venue is excellent whether you are having a summer wedding or a winter wedding. The staff are also wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. You will not get better food at a wedding either! Highly recommended - wish we could have our wedding all over again this Christmas!!

Absolutely Perfect

We were married here in July 2005. Can't fault anything either in the run up to or on the day itself. Helen ensured that everything was taken care of, and thought of many things we hadn't even considered, there were plans in place for every possible eventuality. A stunning venue with fantastic food and drink, nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone around just when you needed them but they were never in the way. Just need find a friend to get married here, so that we can enjoy the day as guests!! Perfect, stunning, fabulous, what more can I say.

Perfect in every way

Our wedding was everything we had ever dreamed of. Helen and Marco were amazing before hand giving us the confidence to relax and enjoy our day which went without a single hitch. A truely magical venue with wonderful food (and lots of it!) and superb service. Our guests were amazed by the setting, service and catering and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life!

A fantastic private wedding venue

My friends and family had a wonderful day and night at the Dairy. All the staff were friendly and the wedding co-ordinator Claire was amazing. For myself and James my husband, it was a very special day.

Beautiful location with good food and service

We were guests at a wedding at Waddesdon in June 2002. The couple in question chose to have a civil ceremony overlooking the lake and reception in the conservatory. The service, location and food were excellent.

It was the best day of our lives

From start to finish the whole day was like a dream. The staff at The Diary were so professional and kind and left nothing to chance. In some ways I wish I could do it all over again!
