We had our wedding at the crown hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. It was the little touches that counted, they made us feel special and took away every stress that normally comes with a wedding. It was a spectacular day!! -

We chose The Crown as our venue because of the size & how lovely the room we would be getting married in was (Hogarth Suite). They were always very responsive whenever contacted & nothing seemed too much.
On the actual day everything was sorted for us, we didn’t have to do any of the setting up which was also a big bonus as that’s the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day.
All of the food prepared by The Crown was delicious. For our wedding breakfast one of our choices was beef wellington, I can’t tell you how many of our guests raved about how good it was. The wedding breakfast was that good that I was too full for the bbq they put on in the evening…which was also a firm favourite with the evening guests.
We chose to use the resident DJ who was a lovely guy & accommodating with our music choices. We emailed him before the big day with a list of songs we wanted & he played them all.
All in all, it really was our perfect wedding made even more perfect by a wonder venue & setup.

The crown hotel event team were friendly, professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Special thanks to Tori who was our point of contact. Tony , master of ceremonies ensured that everything went smoothly and to time without rushing the party. The food was delicious and they catered for some of our friends with dietary requirements ( vegetarian, lactose intolerance and celiac)
The room was decorated beautifully, exactly like we wanted.
The service was excellent, nothing too much trouble. The garden at the rear of the room where the photos were taken was beautiful, quiet and private.
The whole team ensured that our day was a beautiful memory. -

The Crown was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the booking enquiry stage right up to the big day the team were so helpful, big thank you to Tori and Lindsey for helping us organise the perfect day, I inundated them with questions in the run up and they were always so informative and friendly, taking away any stress that comes up when wedding planning.
We had around a 100 guests and The Crown handled everything so seamlessly, from the amazing food and coordination on the day. The Hogarth Suite is just stunning, and we made the most out of the secret garden; we have some beautiful photos taken there.
On the day, Tony was coordinating and he was just the best, he ensured all of the little details and decorations were there when setting up the room and made the day run so smooth.
I would thoroughly recommend The Crown for a wedding venue and thanks again to all the staff who made our day so special. -

We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the entire team at the Crown Hotel that made our wedding such an amazing experience.
From the initial meetings and planning to the actual day we couldn’t have asked for more.
The staff throughout are a credit to the hotel and made our day everything we wanted it to be and more.
A special mention has to be made for Tony, who went above and beyond what we expected, especially the way he was with my 14 year old son/best man when he got upset about doing his speech, the man is a legend. -

From start to the finish the whole experience with the crown was fantastic. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring the day was perfect. The venue itself looked amazing and the food was exceptional! -

From the very beginning, the crown have been supportive in the planning process. They have been happy to answer any questions and accommodate our wedding party as much as possible. The day was outstanding, beautiful and seamless. The master of ceremonies walked us through everything the evening before and we knew we were in good hands. On the day we did not stress about anything! All the staff were very supportive and ensured everything went smoothly and looked stunning! The staff even unlocked the disabled toilet as, in their experience, it was easier to wee in a wedding dress with a little more space! The meal was stunning and the team went above and beyond to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements… even just fussy eaters.
We the got to unwind in the bridal suit and enjoy a breakfast the next morning as husband and wife!
I honestly cannot thank them enough for giving us the most beautiful wedding day! -

Wedding at the Crown Hotel, Bawtry - the perfect day!
Had such a fantastic day thank you to the team at the Crown Hotel, we wanted to keep the day pretty informal and chilled and quite importantly fairly cheap. This venue ticked an our boxes and more. The communications from the events team was so quick, I’m sure I pestered them way to often but nothing was ever to much trouble. It was such a smooth process after booking our special day it literally left me to concentrate on outfits and all those other bits. The day was perfect and I’ve never seen so many clean plates at the end of our wedding breakfast, the compliments we received from guests on the food was spot on. Clean plates weren’t because there wasn’t much food, far from it the quality was way better than we expected when you are cooking for such a large group! Thoroughly recommend the beef… delicious! -

All off the staff are knowledgable professional nothing is to much trouble
They worked closely with all our preferred suppliers to ensure everything was as we had expected it to be.
They adapted the menu creating special deserts for our youngest grandchildren all the food was expertly presented to our guests and delicious.
Toni the Master of ceremonies ensured the day flowed beautifully
We would recommend the Crown as a venue for any occasion and especially a wedding it exceeded our expectations
